I won £25 per year in 17, 18 & 19 on £2300 which is pretty poor (although I guess it's just over 1%), I just registered online and that's as far back as it shows (although I've held some since the late 80's), I think before that I'd not won for a few years. I've decided to go 'all in' (with santander reducing the 123 interest) and gone up to £25,000 will see in 6 months if it makes much difference and is worth it.
  • 2 x £25 on max holding. 2 months away from hitting a run of 24 consecutive winning months.

The pessimist in me is now instinctively expecting the "unlucky" message every month because "I'm due one"! :o

I was surprised that I won £100 today, especially when I'd won £25 in November, thought I'd had my luck then! I only had about £1100 and when I looked closely, both wins were in a batch of £50 I bought last April, just a few numbers apart. I've just bought another £3,000 worth but not really expecting my luck to last.

I didn't get anything this month which wasn't too much of a surprise as I'd raided the account quite heavily and cashed in most of the bonds to clear a tax bill, so most likely number of prizes for Feb was zero.

But looking back from Feb '19 to Jan '20 I see I had exactly 24 prizes on my £49.9k in the twelve months. Two is the most likely number of prizes in any given month on that balance, and the fact that they were all £25 is not surprising either, because 98% of all prizes are.

So I got exactly what I expected, which was great - the account did just what I hoped. The highest number of prizes in any month was five in March, the lowest was one.
