I've never won more than £100 in a draw, but have just checked my email and discovered I've won 1x £500 & 3x£25. :T
Having looked at the lucky premium bond and wins for the past few years they mostly come from a £5K batch I purchased back in 2013.

That's great "Mee"! £500 is a large amount! Are you going to spend it on anything specific or save it?
I must admit I am already looking forward to next months draw... but I don't want to wish my life away waiting for premium bond draws. haha! :T

    Thanks
No chance, it's been auto reinvested. I changed to pay-out for a few months won nothing for two/three months then changed back to auto reinvestment and won again for the next two months including this one. Coincidence? Certainly no logic to my decision making just a gut feeling...
    Free thinker.
  • Lucky us then. My wife and I won £200 this month, and for the first time in 2 years one of the prizes was £50. I was beginning to think any prize above £25 didn't exist.

I have won prizes and it works out at about 1.5%. The return is not very high but my money is as safe as i can be.
  • £25 in January on £30k. In 2019 I won a total of £1k, which included a £500 prize. I'm very pleased with that return (balance was less than £30k for most of the year).

I have a online account, and not won anything in 2019 i thought (baron spell) but checking my holdings last week found i have won 7 small £25 prizes since may 2019.
Not had one email and nothing gone into my nominated account, got on the phone and was told after an investigation they said a security lock? was put on my account by mistake, and they are very sorry.
Getting on the phone tomorrow because still no payments gone in my bank account yet.

Quite - but not unusual. I've been hammering HMT for a couple of years about NS&I - and HMT have pressured NS&I to admit their, otherwise covered up, errors and to correct them - at least for one year.
