I assumed everyone would get the winnings email at the same time but it seems not as some people were posting on here yesterday, unless they just knew to look at their account?!

I use the app, tells you when the next results are due (typically second working day of the month). Usually get the emails a day or two later.

I invest £100 pounds every month, or maybe 150, can't recall, and no I don't win every month.

I have no idea what you think I gain by lying . I came onto this forum today to see whether anyone else was having the same luck . I’m not interested in proving anything to you .. it’s my money after all. I was just sharing what I have discovered after a year of investing as I have . Good luck to you ! Thanks

Apologies, the thought was going through my mind that it's not unknown for a new poster stating something that is improbable to not be entirely stating the truth but I should have left that unsaid. In replying, I should, and will, simply assume good faith.

You've enjoyed very good fortune to get such a return from a relatively modest holding, so well done. Probability dictates that you are unlikely to do as well next year, regardless of whether or not you carry on topping up in the same manner after each win.

The main motivation to reply was to state the firm belief that you have experienced something rather than "discovered" anything. There will, in all probability, be people who have had the inverse experience of only winning when they haven't purchased new bonds. The vast majority will be at neither extreme and will accept that (beyond having a slightly larger holding) they are no more likely to win regardless of whether they add £75 in the previous month or not.

I've never won more than £100 in a draw, but have just checked my email and discovered I've won 1x £500 & 3x£25. :T
Having looked at the lucky premium bond and wins for the past few years they mostly come from a £5K batch I purchased back in 2013.

I've had £5 of premium bonds since 1957 and never won a thing! That initial investment of £5 in 1957 at the time would be the equivalent of investing £101 today! That hasn't turned out to be a shrewd investment by the person that bought it on my behalf! 63 years and not one win!

Feel better? Actually, from the RPI of 63 years ago, it is £125...:)
