    Nothing this month :(

I think I'm going to withdraw and stick my money in a 4.85% Bradford + Bingley savings account.

Lol! With £100 you can expect ONE prize per 20 years and you're sad at 7 months of nothing, unreal. Plus, your 'stake money' is losing value due to inflation.

I know, I know, but I thought I'd try it for a year for a laugh. It's spare money (well kind of - my debts are all interest free) & if I can nick 1x£50 by a bit of luck I'll be doing alright!

    worto.

I had the max £30K invested for a couple of years and had a flurry of £50 & £100 at the beginning and then nothing for ages so I took out £25K and left in £5k .......just for that vague chance of the biggie......haven't won a penny since!

Oh well, unlike the lottery, at least I can have my money back!

we won £1000 and £50 in june then another £50 in july although we have not won in ages. I initially thought the £1000 read £100 it was a great feeling. We have only £5000 invested so not a bad return.
  • I've just cashed in £2000-worth to pay stamp duty with.

Last time I redeemed bonds, I won £50 the next month, as if to taunt me.
