Nothing for almost a year, then I won £50 last month and another £50 this month!!!! Well chuffed now:j I'm ahead on savings interest, after tax, for the year.

Still hanging in there for the postie.

Gives me half the month to still hope, and as it's automatically re-invested, don't need to worry.

Does anyone know what happens if you win a big amount such as £100k, I know they don't re-invest it automatically as that stops at £5000, but wondered how they contacted you.

I know they have a person who visits if you win the million. There was a documentary about it, the person could only tell the winner, not a partner which meant she had to be very diplomatic if the winner was a man and she was talking to his partner. Why else would a strange women want to talk to your husband but would not tell you why?

That reminds me - I haven't won for ages with my £2000.
Got 2x50 in the first year but nothing for the last 2 or 3 years.

I just can't bring myself to check on the National Savings website, it takes away the hope!! I think the £50's are delivered around the third week of the month, so if I don't get anything then it is not too long to wait until the next big draw on 1st of the following month!!

Sad really I suppose!!
