This is something that has crossed my mind. I have £30k worth of PBs and it is only £25 here and there I seem to win. Never won any of the large prizes and never seen anyone here come and say - wow I have won £100k or £50k or £1m.
If you won one of the big prizes, would you announce it here?

Apart from that, there are so few big prizes, it's unlikely an MSE forumite has won one.

One thing to be thankful for with PB, at least you`ve still got your money, unlike the rip off National Lottery.
Jackpot not won, never mind we`ll have a rollover and make you pay again.
How can people be so gullible.
Jackpot not won, then draw it again.

Past 12months yielded 1.95% on full holdings. Not bad when look at todays interest rates.

I think I would post on here if I won big, and would find it interesting to know how the process works if someone else did - what happens if you're out when agent million knocks on your door, what does the app do if you win a million etc etc.

Like with the lottery, I think it's difficult to comprehend just how unlikely it is that any one individual will win the jackpot, so unfortunately I don't think I'll be celebrating that anytime soon!

Back when interest rates were much higher generally, I did win £1000 on PBs (can't remember my holding at the time but was probably around £10K).

This month 3 x £25 on max holding so I'm a happy bunny this month :-)

I've never played the lottery regularly, just the occasional go (I got the first 3 numbers drawn in the first ever draw - unfortunately that's where my luck stopped) since it went to £2 a go I have not played and don't think I will play again at that price.

    £25 on £25k
  • Thing is other than here and a few current accounts where can one stash the cash? Interest rates are an embarrassment and this years ISA cash uptake is the lowest ever. Of course with mind blowing rates such as 1% or less is there any wonder.

Another month ,another "sorry, you haven't won" message -just wish there was somewhere else to put it -but I've just had Halifax's "generous" roll over offer on my maturing ISA of 1.25% for 2 years:(
