£25 this month. First amount I've won since April. Up to 30k in there but on average I think about 12k, will be moving the whole 30k next April when BoE rate should've risen0

Nothing for aaaaages. I'm one of those people that seems to be on ERNIEs list for "give 'em a one quick prize within 3 months of buying, then ignore them".
Now I know statistically that it shouldn't happen. I don't believe in such silly myths. But it's mighty suss when it happens
Haha i think im on a similar list.. its strange because you'd think you're chances of winning should be decent on full holding but doesn't look like it.. ERINEs strategy is to just throws chicken feed every once in a while to keep things interesting. I agree with a previous comment that the house always wins.
Anyway come on Feb..0 -
Sod all this month for me.
Don't know what is the biggest lottery. Premium Bonds or Stocks and Shares.0 -
Nothing for me again this month (or December).
I hope the people pushing Ernies buttons aren't using the money to pay themselves bonuses!

The NS & I website appears to be playing up -its telling me that both our holder's numbers are invalid when I check for wins.:(
EDIT -Working now - £25 for us -actually did reasonably well for the previous 12 months 1.78%:)0 -

1x £25 for me in January which is a nice start to the year.
I done the same as you on 3rd January, logged into my NS&I account and it was coming up with 1x £25 for me in January, I just checked again and was pleasantly surprised its now showing 3x £25 for me in January!Never let the perfume of the premium overpower the odour of the risk0 -

Indeed. I won £25 on a maximum holding."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0 -
My year has seen 3.48% payout - sadly on only around 5k, but I feel kinda vindicated after everyone suggested it wasn't a wise investment vehicle. Not seen a penny since August, mind.0

I started investing in PB back in 2009. I do like it ( prefer more to Lotto). Was adding to it every few months. But only had few £25's per year. In 2012 I had about 20 000 - won £350. Last year I reached max limit but won only £300. The biggest prize was £100 + £25 in one month. All other prizes were £25's only. Still better than nothing. Opted to get prizes paid in my bank account. As many people in this forum wrote before I have similar experience. None of my smaller chunks (25's, 100's) never won anything in 4 years. Only big ones (like £1000, £5000, £23000) won. But in the end of last year I cashed them in ( took 3 working days) and left only few of them. Used it as a deposit for my first property.
May consider to start building them up from zero again if savings rates don't improve. And, of course, if I will have any money left to put aside after my mortgage.:)0 -
