My in-laws both have full amount in premium bonds. Up to 2008 they did really well winning £100 a month. Last few years their winnings are down to £25-50 a month, but very rarely does a month go by without something being won.
Biggest win was £200, last year I think.0 -
Self with max bonds 3 x £25. OH with £26,000 6 x £25.
Not a bad month for us.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -
Premium bonds are a very cheap way for the government to borrow money from you. It is cheap because the rate you get is very low. Think about it.

My wife and I got nought in December but managed a 1.45% return over the year on max holdings.
Not much I suppose but probably equal to the miserable saving rates around at the moment.
Good luck next year folks. :beer:Trying to learn something new every day.
