That happened to me when i tried to cash in some bonds last month. The security questions are absolutely daft...
"What time was your first child born..?"
"What is your eldest daughters middle name..?"
Awkward, particularly if your not blessed with children.
When i got the new password though i wrote all the answers down in a notebook & i should've done that in the first place.
I had the same problems too. I am sure that I was never asked to set those questions in the first place.
I wish I would win - how exciting even to win £250 -
So - are we saying the small prizes are up there? If so then nowt again for me!
Hang on - mine is still saying the May draw :think:Mags - who loves shopping0 -

Same thing happened to me even though I am ultra careful when submitting passwords!!
On a brighter note I have won 2 x £25 this month.:)
Total won this year so far = £100 on 11k holding.0 -
Having received a temporary password today, I can understand why I locked myself out. The password has to be 6-8 characters, contain one upper case, one lower case, one symbol and one number. My usual combinations include all of these, but are well in excess of 8 characters!0

For me it's not the password that's the problem - it's the security questions that are a hoot..!
One of the questions is " What is the name of your degree ?"
You only get asked the security questions when you want to move money so often you forget what those questions are.
To me it's the Adams Family of the banking web world. I type in with my fingers crossed, that's how nervous i am when i enter.
And each visit is a different experience.0 -

If it is any help, you can change your security questions to something more relevant. The list of available questions is comprehensive
Log in, click on Preferences then select Security questions. Enjoy.:rotfl:0 -
Whoop, my 12 year old lad had a pleasent suprise on Wednesday, a cheque for £500, for a Premium bond win, which is not bad for a 3 year £1500 investment :-) It is also £500 more than I have ever won with my bonds since 1969!0
