"Once again, it's a dreadful website. Why can't they have a "most recent prizes" box & [click] Go.
Those calender boxes are so, so slow that the best way is to type your dates in manually."
    Sandblast, too right!

One would have hoped that with the passage of time the web site would improve, clearly this is not the case, the programmers and those that sanctioned should be taken outside and shot.

Very odd; when I first checked May draw it said I'd won 1x£50. Just now it said I had won that plus 2X£25. Any explanation?

At least it went the right way. Wasn't a there a guy on here the other month who it told he'd won £50 or something then later on was told it was £25 when he checked again later on ?
I've signed up to the website, given them feeder account details in case i buy more bonds, does that mean then that this month, having won £25, they automatically pay my winnings into my feeder account or do i get an old fashioned cheque ? Do they send you an email if you're a winner ? I've as yet received nothing.
As a website, things are a little vague on there. It's as if they are struggling with this newly invented internet thingy.

    feeder account
Yes, Sandblast, he was last month and I asked him to tell us the result.
Don't know what a feeder account is.
You can have winnings automatically reinvested, my OH has got that. I'm maxed anyway.
The reason I checked my £50 win again was in case they'd taken it away (I was thinking of that guy you mentioned). Now I'll have to check they haven't removed by new £25s.

It depends whether you opted to invest any winnings in more bonds or not. You get asked when you buy them.

I called them yesterday to ask why I couldn't register my details online for an online account. The woman said that they have to send me a form to fill and return to them!!!!!
I mean this is the technology age, banks and all other companies do things online and yet NS&I can't sort it out!

What a bunch of incompetent morons. Do you really trust your money with them?

Mike, and my OH had to wait ages (think 4-6 weeks) before getting the bumph in the post.

Yeah, its a pain, but they insist its for security reasons to prevent another person using your details to set up online access over the phone and empty the account. NSandI are a big fan of the signature!

I don't think its particularly moronic to protect itself and you.
It's not personal, It's strictly business.

    No it isn't.
But if banks could manage to come up with a secure online system then so can NS&I. It took me no time at all to set up online banking and there is potentially more to lose.
