Not even one in Yorkshire - I do have to say I was surprised at how short the list was!

Me too! That is incredible! How low can the prize fund go when the IR's drop some more.

Even less of a chance for my £400 to win :(

No big win for me this month. Suprise suprise.

I really think they need to have a rethink on how they distribute the prize fund. I, like most people, have bonds for the chance of winning a big prize. Now the chances of that are so slim I see very little incentive to invest

Reloaded the page thinking it had glitched - hehe!

  • Surely that list can't be correct!! I know the interest rate has dropped, but that's ridiculous!!
If it is correct, that's it for me and 'I'm Out'!!! e026.gif
  • I added this to the wrong Thread a few minutes ago:

Apologies as this is my first post and it's not exactly positive! checked just now the file in the nsandi.co.uk Website to have a browse through the usual almost 200 Top prizes of 5,000GBP+ and was utterly dismayed to find only 24 prizes!!! What is the Point?! I've just downloaded the form and am withdrawing my 10,000GBP, it just isn't worth it anymore, I thought we were supposed to be affected by only 2% yet the prizes look dramatically cut!

Anyone else discovered the same yet today?

I can't remember the % but the majority goes in the £50s and £100s prizes I think.
  • the present interest rate is 1.8%, with each bond having a 1 in 36000 chance of winning.
in october it was 1 in 24000 chance, so the odds have dropped by exactly a third.
  • To me, the point of holding premium bonds is that small chance of winning a big prize each month (I won £10,000 in June '07). However, if the chance of a large prize has been reduced to the size of this month's list, what's the point. I don't hold them for the chance of maybe winning £50!!! This is just a p|ss take!!
