The prize fund is listed here, it now appears very poor indeed, the high value winners list today is indeed correct in its shortness.
High value prizes, only: 11 of £5K, 5 of £10,000, 3 of £25K, 1 of £50K, 1 of 100K, 2 of £1M
4% are the higher value £5000+
1% are the medium value £500+
95% are the low value £50+
Surely it'd make more sense to get rid of the 2nd £1M, and have hundreds more medium prizes?0 -
OK, I've downloaded the form to cash them in and it's already filled in and on it's way to them.
I've always been an exponent of PBs but they've reduced the chance to such an extent that it really is no longer worth the punt (IMOP).0 -
Absolutely agree when looked at the new December high prize list could not believe how short it was - thought initially that it had only loaded part of it until I found the new list of prize distrubution on the NSandI website. Really unsure whether to bother to leave mine in or scamper to Chelsea fixed rate bond paying 5.65% Only problem that will never make me a millionaire!!!!0

After recent bank failures, a lot of money was put into NS&I. I think the gov't is now actively discouraging this by massively reducing the rates on all their products. In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0

just had a quick look at the list and my first thought was it hadn't loaded properly.
Gulp when I realised it had. only 1 x£100,000 winner. Skingy nsandi

I've just filled the form in and sent it away, ALL my PB's!!! this is absolutely rubbish now...0

short list, but with all you lot cashing in your bonds that'll leave a miniscule better chance for those of us who opt to stay .... :j:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0

as people withdraw their cash the prize fund will decrease in proportion.0
