The smaller prizes are now available for checking. 3 x £50 and 1 x £100 for me.0

4 x £50

In the first year (Dec 06 to Nov 07) I won £1,000 on a holding of £30,000 - a pretty poor 3.3% return.
Halfway through this 'year' (beginning Dec 07) I've won £500 which is of course exactly the same return.
To put this into context £30,000 would earn a standard-rate tax payer £1682.40 in the best 1 year fixed rate account (5.608% after tax)..0 -
nothing for me on 25k holding
£450 winnings so far this year
I see they've dropped the interest rate to 3.40% now....even poorer returns ahead!
does anyone know of a good monthly interest bond off the top of their head with instant access/little risk?
I do enjoy p.bonds, but with all the storys on here of people with max holdings winning very little I am finally thinking about other avenues for my money, I am mortgage/debt free. good advice is much appreciated!0 -

I'm a bit confused by your question. What do you want exactly, a fixed interest savings bond or an instant access account? In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -
