I view PB's as a calculated risk; that I'm happy to take with some of my money. I save the traditional way, and use my full isa allowance etc... With premium bonds the "prizes" are 100% tax free; which you can then put to work earning 5% net. You also have no concerns about NS&I going bust either!

As they say...... You've got to be in it, to win it; and you just never know..

It is normally there on the 2nd working day, which will be tommorrow, by the afternoon.

Occasionally it does get done on the 1st. See this post saying they won £100 on 1st November at 11:31pm.

the smaller wins are sometimes on just after midnight on the 2nd
