After having to start paying tax on my savings interest I decided to return to a FH of premium bonds after a 2-year hiatus.
It seems my luck hasn't improved:
March - £0
April - £50

I received the "You've just won!" email today and: 1 x £100 on £12k holding

My £30k holding got me £25 this month.
OH holding £37k got £200. He wins something every month.
I'm closing my account in favour of getting a loft conversion and adding £50k onto the value of our home instead.2 -
700 this month on FH. 250 last month, good start as only had them 2 months. Enjoying it while it lasts.2

I would consider leaving £1 (or £25 if that is the minimum to keep the account open) - then you won’t have the risk of needing to jump through ID hoops etc should you need a tax free savings vehicle in future.WindfallWendy said:My £30k holding got me £25 this month.
