    Another 2 x £50 for me (maximum holding) and £50 for Mr L (£7,000 holding). :)

    Well worth a :)

Your annual return is about 4% tax-free! How shrewd.

Mr L is more than twice as good at 8.57%. Combined its a modest 4.86%.

Of course, you could have won £25,467,600 if you'd been really lucky. I guess £150 ain't so bad.

Don't spend it all at once.

    :)

My £500 has only been wasted for 3 years, so I've only lost about £75. I guess I can continue losing for another year before I've lost as much as you.

Sounds like you need to become greener rather than printing everything, also...not very secure those printouts...

Perhaps you should invest in a "Shrinter" - Google it, thinkgeek site.

Sweet FA (yet again) for me with a 10k holding. However, I still get jittery when someone knocks on our door towards the end of the month!

I have a cure for that. I am either working or if I am in, the doorbell doesn't work and with the telly on I can't hear someone knocking either.

we can debate % rates on holdings and the fact that pb's are a poor investment for some and a reasonable investment for others.

we can use martins "calculator" (guessculator) to estimate our winnings or our losses.

but what really matters is this ... if you hold 60k with your misses and you win 50 quid one month and all you do is shrug your shoulders and count the rest of your cash then what does it really matter.

we all know that you may be worst off holding pb's than you would in a bs or bank.

i didnt win a penny this month on 30k .... ok 2 or 3 months of that and i may start to think about another product .... but the chance is there and the fact that im fully isa'd and unable to avoid tax means i didnt win a penny on my 30k ... and the tax man didnt get a penny out of it either.

compensation enough when you think what they would have spent my money on.
