Pipkin - ((HUGS)) can sympathise with the cramps!!!

I know how you feel - I hate being expected to be grateful for somthing that I know I will have to do again!!!!

DH's speciality is to use a brillo pad on the non stick pans!!

I have explained nicely, I have pleaded with and I have shouted!!!!

It makes no difference so now I just make sure he is with me when I have to buy a new one.;)

Have not cleaned loo for a week so have squirted stuff down it

Washing machine is on and hoping to talk DH into taking me to Lidl to do a big shop.

Sitting here in dressing gown with a cup of tea while DH moans about what DDs have thrown in kitchen bin!!!

If he wants to spend his time rooting through the kitchen bin and fretting then he can get on with it.

Realised how good Lidl was when I went to the local supermarket (small) yesterday and heard the people in front of me being charged £75 for three carrier bags of shopping!!! In Lidl I would have got a massive trolley overflowing for that!

Hoping for meal inspiration when I go to Lidl as we have had lasagne twice in four days but it is difficlt to make somethng everybody likes.

DD goes back to Oxford on Wednesday so I want to spoil her a bit while she is here.

Hugs to JackieO, Smokey, Martyn and anyone else who could do with one.

    See you later.

Just had a random thought - if I keep telling myslf "I do not want to sell this house" will sods law kick in and we get a buyer???

pipkin - I have been looking at HE my eldest DS, but to be honest, I'm too scared :-) Hope things are working out for you and yours.

mrdexter - I was soooo scared. It took me about six months of research. I then joined the education otherwise forum, and was put in contact with another family who home educate.

We went to a home ed meeting, before I took the girls out of school and, that was it. I de-registered and we haven't looked back.

The way I saw it was, if we try HE and it doesn't work, I could put them in another school. the main thing was, they were out of their school [ eucation was dire, and DDs were suffering].

Feel free to pm if you want to ask anything, or would like some useful links. HE isn't for everyone, but it is fantastic for us.

Hi taplady - I read the thread, so felt safe to venture back here, without being ashamed that my OS halo had slipped. [Okay, there is a slight shame, but I'm working on it :D ]

catowen - last night the cramp was terrible. Every time it eased off, it would be back again within minutes, and whatever I tried, it wouldn't go away. It hasn't been so bad this morning though.

I need to do a big shop online at some point this week, as we are down to bare minimum. So, I'm going to meal plan whilst girls are getting friendly with tarantulas - hopefully in another room!

    Good morning everyone:D

I have read the thread, but my poor tired brain hasn't remembered anything:o Oh except Aussie has a stye and dlb has lost weight. Well done Donna, I'm envious:T

Was this last weekend a holiday? Are you sure it wasn't keep cramming stuff into transit van until the doors will hardly shut then drive miles, turn round, go back, do it all again weekend:rotfl: No just me then:rolleyes: DS is almost moved out. I'm not that sad surprisingly. Maybe I'm just too knackered at the moment. He and girlfriend and her friend will never squeeze all their belongings into the flat, and it's a big luxurious flat. Still not my problem:D Still not managed to empty his room here yet, but it WILL be going to him or to the tip, I'm not storing his rubbish;) And of course it was freezing the whole weekend, and the snow timed it for every time we were loading or unloading:rotfl:

Off to try and catch up from the last couple of days, I'll have to skim through at the speed of light.

  • Morning all. Sunny but cold here, at least the snow has gone:T

Not much news I'm afraid. The Bank Holiday was a bit of a washout for me, OH just spent the entire time (apart from Easter Day when we drove 100 miles to mum's and back) working as he's so worried about the state of his job:( and is desperate to try and make an impression. I did get some washing done, and a loaf made, as well as the world's most delicious chicken korma last night :p .

Today is cleaning up after the weekend day:rolleyes: , having everyone here creates a lot of MESS. I'm off for a shower in a sec and then will get down to it. My neck which was very painful over the weekend, is a little better today so I think I'll be able to manage to dust and vacuum (unfortunately).

Mioliere, my OH is the same. Every morning. Doesn't matter how organised I am, he always loses or forgets something. Today it was his shoes :rotfl: . He also went to bed in a strop last night because I got cross with him asking me to repeat all the jokes on a TV programme we were watching and accused him of getting deaf. Men.

Having leftover something or other for lunch and then a beef stew for dinner. Yum.

    Hugs to all.

churchmouse, we had that too every time we went outside to cut some laminate floor, after about the fourth time we started to remember to bring the jigsaw in :rotfl:

pipkin, I have registered on a few yahoo groups and have read EO but not yet stumped up the registration fee. As things stand at the moment the OH has said NO, NO and thrice NO, but she changes her mind more often than I change my socks (please note - I do change my socks often - I'm not trying to say she only changes her mind once a week) so who knows. Seeing as she works full time one would perhaps think me and DS1 should be the ones deciding it, but you know what these women can be like ;) (ducks for cover).
Still if the wind changes again I will take you upon your kind offer.

Elona - is that as in stuff that can be recycled or just rooting for rootings sake? If it's stuff for recyclying then I [strike]am as guilty as he[/strike] would never do that.
