    Hello everybody

You can tell it's Autumn here. Wee chill in the air at night and first thing in the morning. Caught up with a few odd jobs this morning. After lunch I dyed XDIL's hair. :D It turned out quite good. ;) I brought DGS home as she is walking now with a friend most afternoons. She's trying to lose weight. He stayed for tea. He picked lots of passionfruit  so in the morning I'm going to make some cordial out of them. I haven't tried it before so I'm hoping it's nice.

I have a pigsty in the right eye :p and it's sore. I'm not putting anything in it, they just go away don't they? Had tea, dishes and DH packup. Going to have a shower now and settle down to Moment of Truth. :D It's the beauty queen on tonight.

JackieO I hope you get results & I see the light is at the end of the tunnel for you. Great news. Can you crush the tablets up & mix up with a spoon full of honey? Might go down the hatch a bit easier. :D

Smoky Hugs & prayers for you.

<hugs> to those feeling poorly. Best go. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    Morning all :hello:

I agree, it's nice to see such positive posts first thing in the morning. I can't speak for anyone else but Smoky's situation has made me appreciate things a lot more. ;) Hope you got through the weekend Smoky.

Good luck at work CrazyChik. Don't let the B******s grind you down.
What was that about making some Passion Aussie? :D
Jackie..The end is in sight with the chemo. I hope the indigestion clears up soon.
Tired mum. Only 6 days to go!!! :j
Hope you get something sorted for your Dad Pam.

Lovely day here so one load on the line and another in the machine. Bread is proving to go in the oven later.
Just need to make the girls' beds and do the kitchen floor then I have to hit the paperwork.
Stew for tea and ironing to do this evening. Hopefully I'll have an early night. I slept my way through our trip to the cinema yesterday so I was wide awake until silly o'clock last night. :o

    Take care all.

AUSSIE - I was always told to rub my wedding ring on a stye - the gold does something apparently. Also, I managed to stop one getting worse by applying a cotton-wool bud dipped in boiled cooled-but-still-hot water and it worked a treat.

CRAZYCHIK - good luck at the hell hole today and that your sleep pattern settles down.

MRDEXTER - I don't often get a good night's sleep! I does make such a difference to the following day, doesn't it?

HILSTEP - glad you've got your stairlift - that should make life a lot easier for you.

Well, I really must fo and do something constructive.

    See you all later.

    Morning All
All 3 DD's are back at school today and I was called in to the twins class by their teacher asking why I had not bought a costume for the school play (wide legged green trousers and a long sleeve top). This annoyed me as I had already spoken to her and said they would wear their school sweat shirts (green) and could they borrow some school track suit bottoms as I have searched charity shops and boot fairs and have been unable to find green trousers, and neither did I have the money or the intention to buy new for just one performance of a school play!

The house is not looking too bad considering kids been stuck indoors for most of 4 days just going to run around with a hoover and mop the kitchen floor, then wake DH so he can go to work.:)

    Have a good day all

    Morning everyone

Thought I would pop in and say hello, as it's been a while and I've lapsed in my OS ways slightly, so need to focus again.

Since taking my DDs out of school, time seems to pass by in a whirl, and everything I meant to do, just doesn't get done. I'm also suffering terribly with insomnia at the moment, and I just don't seem to have the energy I need. I've also had terrible cramp since yesterday [sharing this so you can all be sympathetic:A ]

Now, I know I'm trailing out excuses, but I see it as a confessional -

fess up ---> cleanse the OS soul and that way, I can fit back in.

    Is it working?:D

Anyway, the WM is on, and I'm about to put the BM on for the first time in ages. It's been ages since the last time we used the SC, however, I haven't forgotten the terminology as you can see - WM / BM / SC :D

We are going to see the animal man this afternoon - he will be bringing snakes and tarantulas and other creepy bugs and slimy creatures:eek: Not sure I can stay in the room, especially when they hold the animals, but DDs are looking forward to it.

I have a pile of ironing that needs doing - thankfully it's not too much, but it will be if it doesn't get done. So, my aim is to complete that at some point today. I've taken to sitting down to do the ironing, but it is soooooo awkward.

Anyway, that's our lot for now.

Hope you all have a good day.

    Pipkin xxxx

HJ - good luck with the paperwork, when you're done if you find you miss doing it there is lots here that's late :-)

mioliere - I used to dream of sleeping well again, but the last month or so sleep has been the norm rather than the exception. I can't offer you any advice though, mine is due purely to a change in treatment for my RA meaning less pain and more activtity, therefor exhaustion :j

valjk - my three DSs have only just started their holiday, see if I'm still smiling a week on Friday :rotfl:

pipkin - I have been looking at HE my eldest DS, but to be honest, I'm too scared :-) Hope things are working out for you and yours.
