Morning one and all.
Thoughts and hugs for anyone in need, especially Smokey.
What a difference a day makes! This Easter has probably been the worst I can ever remember. Yesterday and Sunday afternoon I was so low I would have "happily" gone to sleep and not woken up  "A-Z" was playing up and decided that she wants half of my collection of underwater ID books and bird guides. She's even taken my Monty Python DVD's and she can't stand to watch them!! And I thought I could be petulant at times  Thus I hadn't even got the energy to maintain basic life functions, hence my tea on Sunday was 3 slices of bread and jam and a glass of water  . I'm not sure I helped my case by printing out the words to Andy Williams' "Solitaire" and Neil Diamonds "Solitary Man". I thought I was being ironic but looking back.....
Last night was the beginning of the end tho' and while she was out I moved into the motorhome with the doggies and woke up this morning after possibly the best nights sleep I've had in 3 years  Left the heater (and my socks!) on all night so no frozen bitsand it was a doggy tail-wagging slop-fest when I got out of bed this morning :j I was also cheered up by a couple of pm's yesterday. You know who you are :A
Sun is shining, kettle has boiled and Abba are on the radio. What more do you need
Have a nice day y'all.

Morning everyone:hello:
Hope everyone is well.
((smoky and children))
JackieO - I hope the indigestion settles soon, and that the rest of your chemo goes well.
Scuzz - that's really frustrating about the car - hope you get it sorted.
Penny Watcher - at the vets bills, thank goodness you're insured.
Well we've got another fun packed day. Round to MILs again, this time to paint her dining room. It's only a little room, so hopefully shouldn't take too long. Then off to Asdas, as we're out of nearly everything. Hubby and boys then at dentists (I don't do dentists, although I really should). Round to my parents this evening for a meal, which should be lovely.
Hope everyone has a good day.0 -
Morning
Scuzz ... donny-gal took the words right out of my mouth ... sounds like your alternator isn't charging the battery. You can get re-conditioned alternators which are just as good as new but cheaper
I've woken up with a coldBusy day today .. got a lovely long list to work my way through and a good few reminders ready to pop up on my phone. 1 x load of washing to put away, 2 to do and need to clean bathroom and floors. MOrning all
It's bright and sunny here but very cold, shall put the washing out in a mo. Fell asleep on the sofa last night watching a programme about mums who leave thier kids. Did manage to crawl into bed about 9.45pm. Ate far too much before that, I really hate what nights does to your body.
Plan to call my tutor as I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing for my essay. OH will be in bed soon, Tesco's shop coming later. Have ordered one of thier breadmakers, will probably use it mainly for dough, have really missed mine since it packed up. Took DS shopping yesterday, he is now kitted out for our hols, I just have to buy sandals, t-shirts and toiletries. Need to book a haircut as well. I just want the world to stop so I can get off for a bit:rolleyes: .
JackieO Glad you complained, hate things like that and it puts me off going to a lot of places.
Smokey hugs to you and your family.
Off to get DS breakfast, need to mend his school jumper and do his packed lunch.
Have a good day all

Jackie O - Its lovely to see you posting again and being so positive - such a shame you had such a bad time at that place, lets hope someone does something about it!!!
Martyn - glad you are sounding more positive today, things will get easier (been there, have the tshirt and the coat!!) and if posting on here helps, keep posting!!!!
Still no snow here (lets face it, we arnt getting any!!) and doesnt seem to cold either so thats good. At the moment its blue skies out there, so im hoping it will stay like that, so we can stroll upto the shop later, and im hoping to get some gardening done as well. We are on school holidays now, which is great, and im only working on Thursday this week, so it really is nice to spend time with my 2 like this.
Not much else to do, apart from start on my list of confessions i posted last night - it all will be done this week!!
Hope everyone has a lovely day,
Take care

Morning Guys!
Hope everyone is well.
The builder is here ATM to fit the new sink in the downstairs toilet:j :j :j ....he seems a nice enough chap and will have to leave him for a while as I am due at the hospital soon.
Sunday went well with friends daughter and she told us a lot of stuff better not repeated about her home life before she moved out and can fully understand why she did leave. Its quite sad really, but she is pretty focused on what she wants to do.
Yesterday DD went out for the day and she thoroughly enjoyed herself, was out from 9-9:D ...OH & I had a very lazy day and got treated to an Indian in the evening.
Anyway, I had better scoot.
Smokey-Hugs and kisses!
Luv to all.

Thank you for all the car advise. I'm useless in that area!! Will look into it straight after work. I'll bet you all would've laughed to see me and Mum pushing my car out of the drive and trying to park it up on the road so I could get her car out to come to work today. We must have looked funny as I kept falling off the car owing to the ice!!!
Forgot to say, I treated myself to a mortgage money box over the weekend too. It's a big bumble bee named originally Mr Bumble. To begin with as I can't over pay on the mortgage, he may be an ISA money box. He's already got some money in his tummy, what I had left over from my night out. I'd taken internet earnings (surveys) and what wasn't spent, is now waiting to make me more cash:TComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0
