Loving the postive posts this morning. But everybody who needs them still have a BIG ((hug)).
Just a quick post before I go to work. DH is off for afew days so he will be doing the pick up from nursery but DD want me to drop her off.
WM is on, DW will go on when the breakfast dishes go in. Tea is either spagbol or chilli not sure whats in the container thats defrosting. Because I don't have to pay for dd extra hour at lunchtime this week I've decided to treat myself at lunchtime to a sandwich from the shop across from work they do devine tuna melt wraps.
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
Martyn - glad you are sounding more positive today, things will get easier (been there, have the tshirt and the coat!!) and if posting on here helps, keep posting!!!!
Thank you for that. It's much appreciated, as are all the other comments that I've had :T :A Hopefully it won't ever be as bad as Sunday. I didn't even have the energy to weep

Morning all!
Hug to all who need/wants them
Well, it's a quiet morning here in sky city, I've emptied the dw and intend to put a wash load on shortly. Then I might get dressed, you never know...
Damo has a day off today, but its gonna be so choc full of chores that he won't be able to enjoy the beautiful blue skies we've got today. Heheheh coz I'll has gross skies while I'm off tomorrow, not that I've planned it or anything...
Got my long day at work today, afternoon and evening shift, oh joys, and we'll have a HUGE delivery coming in coz of the Easter hols at our suppliers, oh joy...I'm sooooo looking forward to it:p
I'm gonna try and make things pretty after confessing, now that its out there I keep seeing things that need doing. Oh well, thats tomorrow spoken for.
Have a good day allWhen life gives you lemons......Grab a bottle of tequila and call me over!

Morning all. Its rare i post on the daily thread but i thought i would today as i'm still off work for easter.
I had a bad dream last night about burning the house down, so i woke up and switched my timers off from the washing machine and the dishwasher (i set them so they work before 8am as we are economy seven). I came down at 6am and switched them on but DW is still on (its now reached the drying cycle)!
Anyway, DD1 &DD2 are busy eating their breakfasts...DD1=homemade bread toasted with ham & cheese and orange juice (how healthy) but DD2 has Coco pops (well, you can't win them all).
My washing is all hung out and i've now got to motivate myself to shower & get dressed (yes i do hang my washing out in my dressing gown).
My girls are having hair cuts at 11am so i'm getting ready for the moaning as they have to walk 20 mins to get there (what a trauma for them...not).
After that i have nothing planned (except to worry about the filling i'm having tomorrow at the dentist).
Have a good day all.0 -
Morning all - late on here again today! I actually had a brilliant night's sleep and woke up at normal o'clock, after 5 not three hours before! The downside of that is that I didn't get my usual early post on here!
SMOKY - hope today goes as well as it can. Thinking of you and the LOs and sending lots of (((((((hugs))))))). I do hope you are resting and catching up on sleep.
PENPIN - good luck at the hospital.
JACKIEO - it's great to see you posting again!
SCUZZ - I second all the advice re the battery.
MARTYN - what a lovely upbeat post! I'm glad you've made the move into your motorhome and that your bits have warmed up. Make sure you keep that heater on! You don't want anything to fall off in this brass-monkey weather!
CHURCHMOUSE - :hello: :hello: :hello:
Well, DH has just left. Today's 'can't find it' drama was the hunt for the hi-viz vest! 'Have you checked your holdall?' 'Yes, loads of times'. 'Have you checked the side pockets in your holdall?' 'Oh, I forgot about them!' and there it was. Duh!! I have to confess though, that the poor s*d has been looking for his debit card for over a week and I found it IN MY PURSE! I was SO tempted to sneak it back into his wallet (which he must have searched about 100 times) but I knew I wouldn't get away with it! Anyway, drama over - for today, anyway!
I am babysitting tonight for DS1 and DIL but I expect both the LOs will be in bed by the time I get there. I shall take my knitting so, if I can't find a good enough excuse to wake them up, I shall get on with that.
The weather is lovely here at the moment. Very cold but bright and sunny. I didn't have enough washing for a load but I didn't want to waste a good drying day so I've shoved our dressing gowns in the WM.
I am making sausage casserole for dinner so, if DH comes in late, he can help himself because I'll be out babysitting.
DH phoned his Dad early this morning (we're two hours behind Cyprus) and he sounded in really good spirits. DH's first words to him 'So, you made it then?!' He has had fantastic treatment there and is very impressed. I can't believe how well he is recovering from such a major operation.
Well, I need to do some ironing, prep the veg for dinner, run the hoover round quickly, write a couple of letters, go to the gym, maybe nip into the charity shop, get a bit of shopping then come back and try and get my sewing machine up and running. It's only a little one and I have never used it. I bought it about three years ago while I was still working almost full-time and just put it away until I had more time but, now that I am trying to make all this year's birthday and Christmas presents (especially for DGS and DGD and all my nephews and nieces) I fancy making some soft toys out of felt. I am not the most patient gal in the world when it comes to sewing so, if you hear a lot of cursing - it's me!
Anyway, I'm off to do the ironing - it's only a small pile at the moment so I must get it done before it grows!
Hope everyone had a good day.

Morning all
Hugs for smokey
Scuzz, glad you enjoyed your break
Dogrose - I find when the ironing pile is that big, the stuff at the bottom is sufficently flat not to have to do it.
Martyn - glad you feel better today
JackieO - have fun at your craft course
I clenaed the flat last night, it took a while but now its all shiny. OH is off to Canada for a conference on Thursday so I have the house to myself for a couple of days. Saying that, I'll probably just work longer hours as I hate being at home on my own. My boss finially admitted that I have more than enough data to write my thesis - which is wonderful, so I have already made a start and hopefully can get out of here soon.
Dinner is going to be left over pasta from yesterday if OH hasn't eaten it for breakfast like he normally does.
Have a good day all, cel x:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -
Morning all
Smoky thinking of you today. ((hugs))
Martyn don't let *her* get you down. You are coping very well and its nice to see a positive post.
JackieO yesterday seems a bit of a rip-off. Hope Trading Standards can help. Sorry the antibiotics are giving you trouble but it sounds as though you are on the home straight now.
(((hugs))) to all who need/want one.
Back to w**k today but it's all overtime so I can suit myself as to what hours I work. It's payday too! :j Need to phone a repair service to have a look at my WM. Hope it won't be too costly.
Feeling under the weather today but can't actually say what's wrong with me. Just an overall feeling of lethargy. It has hung around all weekend. Still, things have to get done so no point in grumbling about it.
Turkey for dinner today with mash and veg. Lunch is HM soup with HM bread.
Have a tremendous Tuesday. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Morning all. Some very positive vibes and feelings eminating from this thread today, can't help but feel all warm and tingly inside when you read it.
Mioliere - isn't a good nights sleep a wonderful thing when you have been without :-)
Benthosboy - feels a bit like you are smiling today, and it's infectious :-) Hope the rest of the week goes the same way for you.
Scuzz - I third the advice about the battery.
Everyone else - have a good day and enjoy the sunshine if yo have it too :cool:0 -
Morning All!
Didn't post over the weekend, tho I did drop in and read a few!
Had a lovely Easter. The sun shone most days, occasional flurries of snow, but nothing much, but we get our own weather here in Hastings!:rotfl:
Numbness nearly gone now, but the fatigue is still there. Bored out of my brain though. Can't go anywhere, cos I cant walk far enough, and done all my jobs at home.
Did go to Wickes on Friday though. OH is going to build an extension to our deck, and deckboards were £3 instead of £6 for the weekend. They're coming today. Means he'll have to do it then:rotfl: :T
DS got his Playstsation3 in Curry's. He's wanted one for ages. He was saving up, but Daddy decided to give the children and grandchildren some money to remember Mamma, so he's bought it out of that.:o
Got my stair lift!!!!! They had a cancellation on Thursday, and fitted it. BRILLIANT!
((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))) to Smokey and anyone else who needs one.
Have a great day all!I Believe in saving money!!!:T

Good Morning All
I hope that everyone had a good Easter weekend. Mine was fairly lazy, apart from the housework, shopping, and OH putting some shelves up for me in DD room, otherwise we didn't do a great deal.
Running late, so will catch up with the thread later. (((hugs))) to anyone who needs them.
My sleeping pattern is all over the place again, and I know its stress related. Talking of which - Im back to the hellhole this morning!!!!!!! Wander what today will bring.
Anyway, love to all
