  • :T Lidl's toilet rolls are THE best value, supersoft, recycled, 250 sheets per roll. 10 rolls for £1.29.
  • As an interesting aside to this whole debate, my boyfriend and I are shortly going to be moving in together and he is reluctant to go halves on all groceries with me, specifically his complaint is that I use too much toilet paper. Do other couples have this issue and how have you resolved it? I do use quite a lot of TP but do have IBS and also think life's too short to scrimp on certain necessities, such as TP. :D

Another vote for the LIDL recycled loo rolls - 12 for £1.29. They are brilliant. We buy in bulk and they last for ages.

Hi Jo, you just said that about LIDL (not in red!) and I agree, but last time I counted there were 12 in the pack unless they've introduced a new label I haven't seen yet?

Be careful of cheap paper. Sometimes, when you wipe, your figers go right through the paper.

Kleenex triple velvet are the best, others like Asda's own are thin and not good value, as for saving the planet, very naive of anyone to think that recycling loo paper is going to make one iota of difference when other countries are polluting the atmosphere and this government is behind more planes polluting our lungs, but as long as smokers and plastic bags are banned all shall be well. (PS I am a non smoker):rotfl:
