Johanne that looks a good price for the moses basket. I am tempted myself. Mine is one i borrowed off my sister, and it has the most horrendous white border anglais (sp?) cover and canopy, and i would love to buy just some new covers for it as they would look a bit more 'manly'. Saying that, i can't really justify buying another one when they are in them such a short bit of time. Are you getting excited now? 6 weeks for me, and i know i am.

I was looking at these covers on ebay CLICK HERE as a "spare" set (and OH didnt like the green!) but have decided against it for now....give me a few hours and i'll change my mind again!...... but at just £10.45 i am tempted........ Even buying the strips to add a hood to the basket ive bought would only be an extra £6.. so id still be making a saving on the baskets i was looking at in the shops and id have 2 sets of covers! ......But i must resist... i must resist! :rotfl: :rotfl: Oh and i find the white border anglais horrible too and have refused to have it - im not a frilly frilly person! :o

I was really excited at the thought of just 19 days till due date yesterday... then i went to the antenatal class last night and was told were likely to go over (which i already knew anyway) but what took away the excitement was being told if we do they'll leave us till at least 42 weeks before inducing us and maybe as late as 42+3! We all looked like this -> Im already waddling and look like i have a road map of britain on my belly! Dont think i could manage another 4 weeks and 6 days!

Additional problem for us though is OH got confirmation yesterday that he got a new much better job he'd applied for!! :D:D :T Problem is it starts on April 28th!! Exactly 2 weeks after my due date... so if i dont pop before or exactly on time... then hes not gonna get his full paternity leave! And if i go over and need to be induced they wont do it until the day hes meant to be starting the new job at least !! :(:( So he wont be around at all cos no way he can ask to start later as its a major new employer and its a whole team starting together and they'll be going on a training course to gain a licence so no delaying the starting date..

I had 1 load of washing this morning, and a couple of odd bits which could wait as it wasn't a full dark load, I now have 1 pink & purple wash in thats just finishing, and 3 others on the livingroom floor! All I personally have added is 2 dark tops and a fleece the rest has been padded out with the freecycle stuff! Annoyingly in some cases there is too much for 1 load but not quite 2 loads, but I'd rather not overload my machine :o

Been to the zoo, was a nice way to pass a few hours, picked up a couple of bits and bobs at the shop, need to update signature. Getting dangerously close to my target on the GC:eek:

Had lunch and need to make dinner now, wonder if there is time to fit in a nap afterwards:confused:

vivw - looks lovely - I like the dresser and the kitchen unit as well. That is roughly what DH is making me for my kitchen units.

Right - it looked like this:
    Hotspot3.jpg

    It now looks like this:
    Hotspot4.jpg

Lots of things to bin/freecycle. The things that are left have to stay in there - but the volume is significantly reduced. The cd's I need DH to sort through as some are computer ones, etc.

Boys are currently playing with baby toys - and the ball pool. Then (hopefully) I will be allowed to freecycle it all. They did lots of shredding for me. Some of it I even wanted shredding......

JillD - weight no gain, no loss. Feel better, and stomach is less blobby so I don't much care what the scales say. Jogging really helping.

Thank you - i had vaguely looked but given up as i hadn't seen just the covers anywhere. Will have another look, then see how i feel.

I wouldn't assume you will go another 4 weeks. These pesky babes come when they want. DS was 8 days early, and honestly, i know what you mean about stretch marks and just wanting it over with now. If you go over, and i go under, we may even hit the same week. ;) It won't be long now for you.

All the other problems will just disappear. Keep yourself a bit active and it will make it prompter. I swore by the rasberry leaf tea last time - i had it from 35 weeks. Yet it did nothing for my sister who was 4 days late.

I am just trying to chill a bit and have some quality me time while i am waiting.

viv and hex :T :T well done on todays efforts.

nicki :j :j on your freecycle bargains.

I am still feeling bored and restless. Did i mention i hate waiting for deliveries and workmen.

oh i am bad - i just bought some lilac moses basket covers, and then spotted rear facing mirrors for the car. The 2nd one at least i did need. Both purchased, and as i had money just sitting in my paypal account from quidco purchases at xmas. At least that is another couple of things off the longer term list.

afternoon - had lovely lunch with my mum though we all had to go in the dining room as my dad was watching the news. he has to watch it 97 times a day...definitely a bit ocd.

my living room is sparkly and i'm about to do the dining room whilst i wait for the hair dresser to turn up.

omg you'll never believe it but there are houses to rent 2 doors down from my sister, in the next road and two roads away. it would be so cool if i could move over there and be that close to her. i know we'd drive each other mad sometimes but that's life! dh goes to see boss next week to talk about opportunites over there. does anyone on this thread live in the states?

just had a call from my friend who's husband has fallen and thinks he's broken his wrist. keeping my fingers crossed he's ok.

tomorrow i'm going to help my friend sort out all her husband's clothes. i didn't think she'd do it this quickly but she feels ready and i guess there's no rules as to when you do different things. i really feel for her at the moment - think she's just starting to believe that he really has died. anyway, i'm going round with a box of tissues, a box of choccies and a bottle of wine. we're going to be ladies whom drink in the afternoon!! hee hee!

right, dining room and washing all my woodwork down.

    hugs to all xx

I have just had the gas bill with the annual review and they wanted to put up the monthly DD by 70%  I had already reviewed this myself when I submitted a reading online last week and decided it only needed to go up by £2 per month. The snotty girl at customer services said it was ok to increase the DD by 70%!!!!!!! Told her no it wasn't but she was never going to listen to anything so put the phone down and went onto moneysupermarket to compare again (did this in Dec and was allegedly on the best tariff at the time) now I can save £82 for the year and get £30 cash back :D so thanks EDF for your useless customer service I'm off to npower!
