Rather a long shot here but does anyone know where a pattern could be got to make this

Viv, I'll ask my Mum. She's good at that sort of thing. She made me an organiser that she saw in Lakeland to keep all your Christmas wrap etc in.

Struggling on the old motivation front today. I have sorted all the clothes in DS3 and now have another bag to give to a friend/charity shop.

Making a cuppa then going to see if I can get his and our bedroom cleaned before lunch. Friend coming this afternoon with her little boy which will be nice.

Vivv I'll have a look in some craft books to see if I have a similar thing in them but I do want to know why that fabric was hanging in the bathroom!

Mudbath well done on the weight loss

Tracey hugs hun be kind to yourself, you won't feel like this forever x

  • Beetroot!!! Lots of it in last weeks veg box and now this weeks one too. I don't know what to do with it. Anyone got any "clean" suggestions please?

Sharon, I like roast beetroot. Stick it in the oven with potatoes, onions, peppers etc and drizzle with olive oil. Lovely :D
  • Good morning all

I'm at Mum and Dads today, waiting in for the central heating men  As the pc is in the kitchen, I wont be on here for long. I'm freezing! Managed to clean the oven before I came out and hung out the washing. Still waiting for the solicitors to phone me back (I phoned them last Thursday and then again this morning) Why cant people return calls????? Might make a start on the complaint letter for Mum and Dad.

Fi, if it was my Mum, who is lovely, I'd give her a lift. If she criticised me, my daughter or my presents, I'd tell her to get the bus! I dont actually have a car, but am insured to drive Dads and an Aunts car. I dont drink that much, so it means I can drive them home after parties etc.

Will go dognapping again today I think.

Right time to watch some tv and warm up.

    Well done Mudbath!! xx

no she has 16 year old DD, who was very shocked when she found out and is worried that people will think it's hers if she takes it for walk in it's pram :rotfl:
:rotfl: they probably will too :rotfl:
I have an 18 year old cousin up norht, she normally comes for a couple of weekends a year to stay with us, play with the kids etc.
Last summer she came to Legoland with us and at one point I went off somewhere while she, DH, DS(then 3) and DD(then 2 and in the buggy) walked around. DH was convinced people were giving him"you dirty old man" looks for having 2 kids with a teenager :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

gorgeous day here, well cold like, but sunny and bright.

We all slept in til 8am:eek: then had to get us all up dressed brekkie'd in 30 mins
Dropped DS to school and DD to preschool and then - big gasp - dropped LO to childminders  She is having a trial session as I go back to work in about 6 weeks  Its ok though, CM is my friend so its all fine but BOY the house feels weird and quiet.
Since dropping her off I have:
    - been for a smear test (delightful)
    - hung washing out on line
    - tidied upstairs morning devastation
    - hoovered downstairs
    - fixed printer
    - printed off WW Pass for tonight

And now just knocking back a :coffee: as I have an opticians appointment in 10 minutes. If anyone else wants a :coffee: the kettle has boiled but you'll have to help yourselves. Coffee in the jar, sugar next to it, mugs in top cupboard and milk in fridge. Mind you rinse out that mug after and pop in the dishwasher please

    Morning all

Have read the thread through last night so forgot who said what but hugs and thoughts to hollyh and boddy and well done pigpen and hex!

can't remember when I last posted but have had another bad couple of days. Think I might go and see the doctor about it although I've tired really hard to exercise and eat better this week so could just be all the junk coming out of my system and bit of a come down from all the sugar. Sorry don't want to bring the thread down.
(((hugs))) Tracy, just want to say quick before I sprint off to otpicians, you are NOT bringing the thread down, thats what we're here for and you are doing the right thing telling us and letting us try and make you feel a bit better.
FWIW I have been feeling loads better and I'm sure its 3 reasons combined:
    1. Not PMT at the mo!
    2. Eating better
    3. Increased dose of tablets and for first time in months life feels bearable. Used to dread going to bed cos I dreaded getting up the next morning IYSWIM.
LO still not sleeping through the night and still they all yell in the day but somehow I can thnk "Oh well" instead of "ASAAAAAAAAAArRRRRGGGHHHHHHHH"
Sorry got to run but know I am thinking of you. PM me whenever you like
