hhc check in - full bin bag of clothes out of wardrobe. even got rid of my favourite suit which a) doesn't fit me and b) i never wear as don't work in an office anymore. also done 4 drawers and got rid of some presents for parties that are now too young for any parties mine would go to.

off to the garden centre (40 minute walk in rain  and so annoying as car is sitting on the drive - don't worry, i won't). will treat children to subway if they don't moan.

is tingling and pain in my wrist a sign that i've done too much? wasn't hurting at all over the weekend but after doing children's room yesterday it feels a bit odd. :o

    speak later xx

Right I'm back and all I've done is sorted through DD's clothes, got a huge bag to get rid of, and folded her clothes neatly back up and put them away. I've also picked up all her dirty clothes up off her bedroom floor - well actually I'm never sure whether they're clean or dirty as she'll try something on, drop it on the floor and put some thing else on. I've now got a full wash basket again!

Okay lil-me - I'll join you again now and go and put all the clothes away that I've ironed.

    Catch you in a bit

    Morning all

Sorry for your loss Hollyh and OH.

Three loads of washing done, including my bedding. All draped round inside because it's raining.

Remade bed, dusted all the bedrooms and vacuumed them all and vacuumed bathroom/toilet floors and landing.

Dusted living room and vacuumed right through downstairs.

    Prepped everything for lunch.

Watched last episode of series 2 of 24 borrowed from DS. I saw it when it was on but never got any further so I've re-watched the first two series before I start series 3.

Looks like it's trying to brighten up outside, maybe I'll be able to hang some bedding out later.

My dog seems better today. She's not falling over as much and she's eating and generally seems brighter and more "with it". Maybe it was a mini-stroke or something?

  • Anyone know how to get masking tape off windows:confused: I had them all neatly taped up to paint them about... oooh 9 months ago:rotfl: Anyway, now the tape is possibly a bit mouldy so i thought it was time to remove it, its leaving loads of backing stuff behind:eek:
Anyone know the best way to get it off?

Try WD40 and a scraper. I have a huge mirror over my fireplace and there was sticky stuff left from the price label, quite a large label. It has been there for about 2 years. Somewhere I read about using WD40 for sticky stuff. Well I tried it yesterday and it got it off!!!

Sticky stuff remover that chasingbutterflies mentioned is BRILLIANT. I get withdrawal symptoms if I havent got a bottle, its really good for removing stuff like, well sticky stuff really :rotfl: , from plasters, tape, oil/tar from the beach, wax crayon from walls and can be used on glass, plastic, clothes, hair, skin etc.

Lakeland sell it in a bottle and wilkinsons sell it in a can (but I think the bottle is better) Its a life saver (well nearly)

So far have managed to sort through my box of lush stuff and had soak in the bath, phoned my brother to find what time he's coming with the girls on Friday and had a mug of coffee, havent even managed to dry my hair its dried itself so looks awful and need to put a face on yet as well. Have a bit of a headache so a think another cuppa with some parrots and then I may go and have an hour or so in THE BIN  . If I'm not back by 1 send out a search party please.
