    Afternoon everyone.

Finally caught up on here, so that is a couple of hours of sitting around before anyone shouts at me so i won't have done too much. Also drank 2 bottles of strawberry milkshake, and ate 2 vanilla slices, so feeling like a nap with the sugar crash.

johanne glad to hear OH's parents are a bit better

pollybear glad the dog seems a bit better today

holly sorry to hear your news. Take is easy today to help you get over your migraine.

mudbath hello pot, hello kettle. You have some need to shout at me Mrs when you have done so much your wrist is hurting. Get it up for a bit today. Your flylady efforts are admirable, but you will not be moving to USA in the next few days, so some time off is called for i think

Achieved today:- not a lot, but better than nothing
    • dropped DS off at nursery. He was really upset again as they have swapped the rooms and he is in with loads of bigger kids and strange staff - lets see if we can get him used to it. doesn't help that the rooms weren't divided off properly and kids were running all over the place. Very intimidating for him.
    • paid nursery bill
    • booked next monday/tuesday off as holiday days for him - saving £52, which will cover some of the costs of being away
    • got back in time to let the wardrobe fitter in
    • went to MW appointment - which was a waste of time, as they always tell me i am fine even though i feel poo and have only put 4 pounds on in 34 weeks. baby is head down, which i could tell myself anyway, but not engaged yet
    • went to supermarket to get bits for next few days
    • checked the wardrobe fitters progress, found him out the hoover, and organised when the last piece is going to be delivered and when he will be back to do it.
    • ordered a group b strep testing kit online as the NHS won't do one for me, and for peace of mind i don't want new baby on IV antibiotics at birth again. It was a real pain with DS.
    • spoke to DH - his boss wants him to work away in a couple of weekends time, i tried being assertive and telling him it is unfair to be away for 2 nights while i am so huge and we have so much going on, but final decision is out of my hands. He also is needed to go to canterbury on 18th of April, but as DS will be in nursery all day, that one isn't so bad, even if it is a good way away.
    • bought friend a wedding anniversary card - wrote it, will post later
    • fed cats
    • locked up garage when workmen left
    • dealt with post
    • tidied DS's toys away
not really got anything planned for the rest of the day - i really feel like a sleep. And i suppose i should do some washing, as i have run out of pants as i discovered this morning - which must be the first time ever. Thankfully we have the TD so i can quickly rectify that. Plus there is that top with poo on from yesterday. Will maybe sort one load on, and then have the nap, and then get the other on. Before i know it, i will need to get DS.

I think the sticky stuff remover has orange oil in it, WD40 is good :D I use it for all sorts......
johanne good to hear your MIL is on the mend, pity she didn't need surgery on her mouth eh....just kidding of course :rotfl: even if I sometimes wish there was a way of shutting my MIL up permenantly!
juliejim, get those drawers sorted, tell you what I have 2 I need to do, challenge 1.15pm-1.45pm if you're up for it.....

List accomplished but banished myself from the PC for a bit longer and did all the sitting room ledges, so handy for putting things on but become an around the room hotspot within hours! I've dumped everything that isn't 'mine' on the dining table from the sitting room with a plan of giving everyone a box and saying 'grab what is yours, anything left in half an hour gets binned' yes that includes all 3 kids (DP being the biggest one) speaking of which I removed his cack from the bedroom floor (inc 11 pop cans) but have left a bin next to his side so he can do the rest himself, it's a mess. I've scrubbed the TV cabinet within an inch of it's life, scrubbed the sofas, cleaned the fire, wiped ickiness off the walls and doors, cleaned the window and sill. 2nd washer load is in of the bed sheets, TD on with the first set as we have rain/sleet here still.

Next job, scoff dinner :D left over lasagne again :rotfl: that's the last of it gone
One day I might be more organised...........

awwww is no-one talking to you juliejim :hello:

gunsandbanjos - i'm glad i knew you were getting stickly stuff off or i'd be very confused!

    anw'smum - hugs to you

johanne - sorry but i had to laugh at MIL driving you mad already, bless her (not)!

pollybear - glad your dog feels a bit better today, they can be such a worry.

children got their subway so they're happy. dd wanted to eat her in her bedroom listening to lemony snickett on the cd. eating in bedrooms is usually a no no so she was so excited when i said yes. amazing how the little things please them.

ds is going to friends to play this afternoon so i'll walk puppy dog with dd and then come and get another bin bag of stuff to throw out.

Can you get dog ear plugs??? He's currently crying because he's scared of the washing machine, he's so pathetic. I tried to get him to go in the garden but because it's there I had to let him out the other door as he was shaking like a leaf. Soft as muck he is.

Re ILs: MILs op went really well, saw her last night and apart from still being a bit out of it on the painkillers she seemed fine.. almost her usual self! Specially when at one point it seemed she was trying to set the "wonderful girl - whos been such a treasure to me!" in the bed opposite up with my OH while i was sat there! They would get on so well apparently... "being about the same age!" .. (and my OH claims she doesnt have any issue with the fact that im 9 years younger than him!! :lipsrseal) Sooooo she must be on the mend as shes back to annoying the hell out of me and making me feel about 2 inches high by just being in the same room as me :rotfl: :rotfl:

   OUCH! 9 years is nothing!

Go back to bed!!! See you can go now because I told you to. However would it be safer to sleep on the sofa incase you hurt yourself or something on the way there?

I hope you realise juliejim I've been putting off doing these drawers for years, we even moved with the stuff inside them :rotfl: :o Oh and can I have some strawberries please :D pretty pleased :D

Right, suppose I best get those drawers done, will have to vacuum through downstairs once I have done that, move the airers which are currently in the living room etc.
