Sue, sorry to hear how you are feeling and sorry about you brother too : (
You will get there in the end but you have to try and stay strong. I know what its like to be depressed and I also know that the drink doesn't make you feel any better. Have you been to the doctor for help with your depression? If not get there. I've had the 'You have loads not to be depressed about' advise too, they are right too. Stay strong, you will get lots of support on here and get that stuff on Ebay as soon as your hangover has cleared : )

I am so sorry you are feeling down and even though you spent the day in the pub at least you had company!. I know you feel worse now but look long and hard at that tunnel and you will a tiny speck of light. Keep working towards it and the light gets brighter. I think (If you have not already done so)a visit to your doctors might be needed. You are right when you say that unless a person has actually suffered from depression they dont understand the same goes for debt and bc. Have you had contact with any of the debt charities like cab ect?. If not it may well be worth you making an appointment to disscuss you situation. I know only too well that feeling of utter despair and desperation and once those floodgates open there is no closing them but you may well feel better after a good cry. We are all here for you and believe me you won't get better support anywhere. Talk all you like it is better out than in, where it only festers and grows. Be brave girl and try to stay positive. Hi Sue sorry you are feeling low. Like a lot of us on here I think it would be ggod for you to speak to your GP and maybe counselling. I am on AD and have counsellor and it does help hun. Also smoke like a chimney maybe not best thing to do but will stop eventually cant afford them either. I know one thing before I went to docs I was drinking every night half to a bottle of whisky per night this went on for six months, but then I got to the point where it was not taking away my depression but making it worse. Since going on tablets I have hardly had any because of the pills. My hubby says I am a cheap night out now as because the AD double the effects of alcohol I only need two and I am drunk. Not good to mix though. Anyway hun keep messaging on this sight we are all here to help. Take care

Sue as people have said get back to the Dr's and talk to him. He may want to change or adjust your AD's. Also ask him if you can talk to a counsellor. If you don't get on with a particular councillor then you can ask to change.

Also give Cruse a ring and talk to them about the loss of your brother, they are a great organisation and have been a help to me over the years.
