Hi Angel, Good morning Sweetie.
Firstly i have no problem in admitting that as a guy i have spent many days sitting at home crying alone not being able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. And i have admited to my next comment to a few people and now im gonna put it on screen as it may help some come to terms with things.
I took an overdose of around 100 paracetamol few weeks back (4th march to be exact)..i lost a full 24 hours of my life asleep which i'll never get back. i was rushed to hospital after i hadnt contacted my employers for a few days as i couldnt come to terms with how to get out of the mess i was in with debts etc. i was in hospital for a few days on drips etc, etc....when i got out stayed and stayed at families houses...made me realise how much other people care and how much they will be there for me (which i hadnt thought of before).
the reason i have put this on here is that what i have achieved? Nothing!.
only creating more woe's for my mum who has lung cancer, chemo and radiotherapy at moment.
my debts are still here, creditors still hasseling..and still need to sort it out which with all the advice on here and professional advice then BR is my option and decision.
This site has been wonderful and so have all you guys, you know who you are who have offered fantastic advice and support..
Even yesterday after viewing flats and reading about credit checks etc, which i will fail, You all gave me hope with regards to paying in advance for rent etc, again i hadnt considered that...im not saying its gonna be easy for me or you Angel with what you decide to do but there is always hope my sweet and everyone is in full support.
I hope that helps someone somewhere...i feel much clearer again just writing it all down .
Dave

Hi Angel,
I too have felt just like you.... It's not a nice feeling. But i can honestly say it WILL GET BETTER.
The feelings you have a normal. When we started to pack up,i kept thinking we have a lot of nice memories here but also this house is where most of the debt came from.Try and think of the positive sides of BR. It will be very difficult to move on,but if i/we can do it i'm sure you can. Keep posting this forum kept me going and still does.
Take Care

Dave how brave of you to put your story on screen.. I think that will help many on here who reach that point. Lets face it we have all been close to it at some point or another. Hope your mum pulls through all her treatment. You deserve a hug too but i only know the mse one and i don't want you to get the wrong idea. So i will leave it with this:kisses: it's not quiet as intimate as the other one!Free impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

One thing to remember in all of this is its only money! Money is not important its people who are important. If it takes some discomfort getting out of debt then so be it. (I must be having a 'good' day). Seriously the bottom line is if you don't have it, they can't get it. Don't sweat the small stuff.
Happy Easter.
