    Hello Everyone

Back from in-laws we had a lovely meal but they are all driving me mad including DH. I have been completely undermined all afternoon by various people. DD was told no more chocolate and then I caught BIL giving her more with MIL looking on laughing about how we better not tell mummy!! DH seems completely unable to say no or displine her when he at his parents it drives me mad. Needless to say she is now on a complete sugar rush and won't go to sleep so I've left dh to get her to sleep I've had enough

Sorry to rant I know that my problems are minor but I needed to get them off my chest.

    thanx betheebee,it did taste good:D

i watched Delia tonight,i dont know what to make of it.I think its coz it dont suit her,all the ready made stuff.

I suppose mine was like a Delia meal.I got huge non-stick roasting tray, and half filled it with the packet mix/water and added 3 chopped onions and put in 8 chicken drumsticks.Covered in foil and left in the oven for about 2 hours[i like to make sure that the chicken is cooked.]half an hour before that was cooked i added a tin of chopped carrots and a tin of mixed carrots and peas.Served with buttery mash.Absoulutly gorgeous [to me i excelled myself:D ] yummy!!!!!!!!!

well we've just got back from work. I cooked steak for lunch and home made mushroom sauce. (and potatoes and veg of course). But now we've been working we're hungry for our evening meal. We had a few potatoes and carrots left so OH has claimed them. He is having a piece of fish he took out of freezer earlier-don't know why he only took one piece out though-pleased he's sorted-no idea what i'm gonna have, So I'm not the happiest bunny in the world just now!!!And now he has cooked his meal he wants m,e to sit and watch a film-even though I've not eaten or prepped anything yet!!! why are men so selfish sometimes!!!

Me neither, though I suppose it is my own fault as I always say, don't buy me chocolate as I only eat it:rolleyes: .

Lyndsey Ann - why is it that a packet of powder to add flavour means it isn't OS. If it was a totaly pre-prepared one then maybe. OK you topped up with tinned veg, but so what?

stefejb - call the local council when they are open again, never mind a more humane way.

tattycath - Didn't you ask him while he was preparing his food what he had prepared for you?

GB - how's the kitchen doing? remaining sane are you?

joannasmum - any chance of a half way meet with MIL, i.e. you relax your rules a little and her meet you half way? Have you tried sitting down with her over a cuppa, just you and her and explain what it does to DD?

Anniestar - how lovely to be treat, is that so he can have the PC to himself?

DH went into the loft (behave GB) this afternoon to look for something for himself, and "fell over" the food processor which has been up there for longer than I care to remember, and so we got it down, and he cleaned it all up, so will be playing with that sometime this week.

Well TV a bit naff tonight, so DH said shall we put a film on, so I said OK, what do you want to watch he said, (I'm not really a film or TV person) so I said put what you want to watch on I'm on the laptop anyway, so he put Pappilon on again. Anyway the laptop ran out of battery, so back on the desktop.

After he had had his he asked if I wanted him to make me some 'homemade pizza' the sort of thing he does for the kids!!! I declined and he is now sat on the sofa channel hopping!!! and I didn't think to ask him what he was making for me while he was cooking his meal.
When I cooked lunch he said to just use a tin of condensed mushroom soup for the sauce-yuk

    Hi DG

Yes, well kitchen going OK but I have had my moments!. DH came home Thursday 4 weeks away and great opening and closing of doors and asking where is what -I still don't know! Just bunged it in! Flooring and doors Monday-Wednesday. Tiling Thursday-Friday. Last decoration a week later. Thanks so much for asking.

We have a friend with an apartment in La Cala (south of Malaga) where we go - do you know the area? I am sorry, I don't remember where you stay when in Spain.

Hope you and DH not too cold now you are back. Hope DH is still maintaining recovery from his hospital scare. However, sounds like Spanish health care better than here.

    Love and hugs to all.
