I confess that a lot of the time things 'live' on the floor for about a week.
Don't clean the shower and bathrooms on a weekly basis.
Sometimes I splurge on M&S Sushi at lunchtime.....Oh the shame.....Spreading the gospel that is Martin Lewis to the future generation....I'm a Home Economics Teacher and being thrifty is the way!:A0 -

I promised myself that when I retired our house would be immaculate. And now I have, it's worse than ever because I seem to have less time for housework than when I was working!0

Oh! Flylady!!! Yes, i looked once :rotfl:. Taught me the "27 -fling-boogie" which i do do, religiously, every day, trouble is, that doesnt scratch the surface
Mind you, i do often think, when i see all these perfectly dressed and manicured ladies in tesco, i'm sure their homes must be worse than mine, after all, they cant spend hours and hours on themselves and have a perfect house....."It is not uncommon for slight acquaintances to get married, but a couple really have to know each other to get divorced." - Anonymous0 -
I feel extremly virtuous as my fruit bowl only contains fruit
Unfortunatly the rest of my house is an overflowing pig sty and I never seem to get on top of it. As soon as 1 small area is under control the rest just spirals further out of control :rotfl:Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

not done any cleaning tonight (or yesterday as it was sunday) the road outside is so icy no one will visit as it is unsafe to get to me at the moment!! reprieve or what.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0

Come and join in pollypenny - it's made a massive difference to my house and you don't have to be a super-organised houseproud mad thing - in fact I'd put money on those being a rarity on our flylady thread! :rotfl:🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I tried Flylady for a while when I lived in the states. There was only one problem. The site sent so many emails a day, I couldn't get any housework done for reading them all!Take the first step.
Even if you cannot see the whole staircase,
Just take the first step.

Are you casting aspersions on the highly organised and very housepround MSE flylady community? :rotfl: I can't think where you got the idea that we're not all domestic goddesses...
justpeyton4now - the MSE flylady thread doesn't send you emails, so it might be worth a try. It's made a huge difference to my house (and my finances, I actually manage to bank the occasional cheque and pay my bills on time!), even though some weeks I get next to nothing done due to work commitments.0
