I've just been to the freezer to see what useful things I can find to use up before I go food shopping. I found 2 Magnums and have just "used" them up....

I have two teaspoons currently  I suspect that the other hundred or so are probably lost in ds's room, but I'm not brave enough to start digging around in there :o :rotfl:

  • Every time my Mum pops in to visit in the evenings I'm in my jammies slobbing in front of the telly with the dirty dishes sitting on the worktop - she's done it twice this week already!

I work from home on a Wednesday and a Friday and those days I've not even bothered to get out of my jammies.

I'm actually starting to worry even myself - I surely shouldn't be this addicted to my jammies should I???

PS Don't even mention cleaning or ironing!

The fruitbowl contains 2 lemons and a pencil (purely as I emptied a beermat, a bottle of contact lens solution, a horse brass and the Sat Nav from it earlier)
    My fruit bowl currently contains:
    Two packs of honey fudge
    Half a pack of Polos
Half a pack of Halls mentholyptus
    Nut crackers
    Pencil
Pillbox containing my meds for this evening
    Mobile phone
    And one slightly sad-looking banana

I admit it, I use my tumble drier a lot. I never hang clothes outside in winter.

We are currently trying to get the house in a decent state to sell so caching up on DIY, etc. Which basically means every room is full of tools, paint pots, boxes of junk, etc. Worst of all my mattress in in the living room for the next couple of days while the bedroom being is painted so we have to sleep downstairs! (The spare room is also being sorted  .) DD is loving it tho - uses it as a trampoline and play mat - it is strew with toys and crumbs as I type...

  • Spent all last week cleaning the house in preparation for D OH visiting ( he lives in Canada, it's complex) since he arived I have done precisely nothing, the entire house is covered in a thin coating of fluff, the origin of which I do not wish to guess and to top it all, he and DS had a cushion fight today with the sofa cushions, which released so much dust, he then had a big asthma attack. OMG the shame!!
