Confessions? Ok:
I came home from work early because of the snow, with a bag full of work to do. It's still sitting by the back door (well, I'll need something to do tomorrow, the way the forecast looks).
There's a pile of ironing on the chair behind me which I also didn't do.
It's my mum's birthday later this week, and its a very long and dangerous drive to the shops, so I spent the 'should be doing working/ironing/sorting out stuff' time designing and ordering a card from the pretty expensive moonpig site.
But it's soooo cute, with the photo of my son's new baby - her great grandson....Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0 -
justpeyton4now - the MSE flylady thread doesn't send you emails, so it might be worth a try. It's made a huge difference to my house (and my finances, I actually manage to bank the occasional cheque and pay my bills on time!), even though some weeks I get next to nothing done due to work commitments.Take the first step.

Declutter him like you have the kids?0 -

I'd like to bet it's for the same reason that, when you re-pack at the end of a holiday you can't get it all back into the same suitcase to come back home again - even if you've got all your pressies/souvenirs in carrier bags !0 -
Olliebeak, can I have one of those buttons too, please?
OH has been retired for 4 years, still keeps loads of work stuff. I 'sorted bookcases, intending to chuck penguins,, as print is too small for my ancient eyes. Needless to say - couldn't part with any!Member #14 of SKI-ers club

Thanks for the laughs and the smiles....

BTW I loved the idea of hiding ironing in the car - I'll remember that, if I ever have any to hide :rotfl:Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Got sent home early from work yesterday, so could have spent the time clearing all the rubbish that has invaded my bedroom since I decluttered the other 3 bedrooms!!! BUT i built a snowman in the garden (kids age 16 and 13 too old to do this now!!) and I lit the Chimenea and popped tea lights all around the garden to make it look even prettier!!! Only me about, so I just wallowed in the pretty garden!!!0

After letting lots of small girls who are off school today put homemade avocado and yoghurt facepacks all over each other, and then telling dd3 that giving the dog the leftovers wasn't a good plan, I confess, I have just let the dog into the sitting room to lick up the leftovers that are stuck to the hearth! Shame he's not tall enough to reach the facepack finger prints they've left all over the mantelpiece and mirror!
Worse still, they're now out in the kitchen making twinks hobnobs!GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -
