They'll be fine - just whack em on top of a pizza or make a pasta bake and give it a mozzarella and squished crisp topping (take a bag of plain crisps and bash them to bits and then pour on top of your pasta bake!)0 -
I've very much enjoyed this thread, and it is very appropriate, as I am sitting in a big house with a lot of jobs that need doing. I've at least done a wee bit of decorating today- I could be varnishing the skirting board, but instead I am here with a tea and a big box of Thormtons....what's a girl to do eh?!
I can't even write a list of jobs- it's too big. decorate my bedroom, get a new bathroom etc, so the smaller jobs pale into insignificance. Still, as long as there is some sort of progress that's the main thing.
(Progress defined as more tea drunk etc etc:rotfl:)Won Mulberry Bag Jan 090 -
Im not feeling too great today, but i fed my children:)
They got frozen chicken gujons (sp) from iceland, some whoopsied quiches they were yum, and pasta with tomato and chilli sauce. They also drank adams ale (water) with their dinner instead of diluting juice cause i really dont want to go to the shop!!
I have just put an order in for tescos to be delivered tomorrow and have told the kids that there will be some proper food in tomorrow for dinner.:jIm going to be frugal:j:DIm going to be frugal:D;)Im going to be frugal;)Beetlejuice Beetlejuice...................:rotfl:0 -
Ahhhhh a confessional post
We're having Roast Beef dinner tonight
Ready peeled pots whacked into roasties, cooked sliced roast beef that was on offer warmed through in the oven in gravy. I will do all the veg fresh.......but then I do tend to pick easy veg that don't require peeling! Broccoli, cauli and clean carrots
break into pieces and steam....
No pud as its Jan and don't we ALL need to lose weight (tough kids)
A large glass of vino for being good thoPanda xx
