I have a litter tray full of cat poo... if I empty it the cat uses it.. if I leave it full after a few days it smells less and the cat sh1ts outside...

I have 4 tins of quality street/heroes/celebrations wrappers.. on my desk

I have had cat litter on the floor for a week

I haven't seen my bedroom carpet in 4 months.

I have worn the same socks for 4 days..

    :rotfl: :rotfl:
Guilty of all of these too :o:o
AND we had a pizza takeaway tonight...
  • Oh dear God, where do I start...

(I was suffering from OS guilt, I probably shouldn't stop because all of the below needs to be addressed!)

The bin is over-flowing, as is the recycling pile
There's no more space by the sink for washing up, and if I stack it any higher I wont be able to reach
There's a stripe of icing sugar across the livingroom carpet from where OH kicked an empty bowl of HM popcorn over, and its been there 2 days :S
The only veg in my fridge are sprouts, peppers, swede and unwanted parsnips from when we had guests
There's washing on the airer from New Years Eve
    The milk has gone sour

Perhaps mostly shockingly of all... I have zero motivation to clear it up

I'm a failed OldStyler. Tomorrow I will clean up and make Twinks Hobnobs to assauge my guilt over a pot of tea (for which I must make an outing to buy milk.

Oh dear Primrose guess you're not going to find it now.

Ok I confess I have been a lazy so and so this week (only this week  )

I spent so long on Monday evening trying to make jam that yesterday I couldnt be @rsed to cook a proper tea and then as the kids havent been bothered emptying the dishwasher for about 3 days now, I couldnt be bothered to do it either, nor the washing up last night. I left it hoping that my other half would do it today (which he has :D ). No tea cooked again tonight - OH at work, DS got his own tea and I finally boiled eggs for DD tonight around 8 o clock when she complained she was starving (no lunch either :o )
As there is only me and 9 year old tonight I am not cooking again and we will have to reheat something from the freezer.
Oh, but I did pick up a ball of fluff up off the stairs today :T . Fluffs still there this week

My spare room you still cant get in the door and the corner desk/shelf in there had so much stuff on it, it collapsed and fell off the wall onto the heaps of stuff on the floor. Its been like that for about a month now. Spare room desk now has been repaired and has proper legs as we needed to put the computer from downstairs on it so we could have room for the Christmas tree. We dumped about 6 black bags of stuff at the tip and thats only half the room done.

My clothes now sit in 5 trolley bags in my bedroom (they were originally used to hold ironing) these have now become my wardrobe and I only iron my work stuff just before I have to wear it. I think at last count there were 7 bags and every so often I have to rewash them as doogie likes to sleep in them

I still havent managed to finish painting the second coat of paint on my dining room (the first went on 6 years ago - seriously :o ) although I did do a second coat halfway round the room earlier this year. The skirting board is white on 2 walls and purple on the other. This is still the same

My living room had 1 coat of paint on it approx 6 years ago as well and I havent decided when it will get another coat. Have talked about this as OH wants a wall mounted telly but gotten no further (with the painting or the TV)

My hallway has about 6 patches on it by the door where I tried out various matchpots and then bought the paint which has sat in the shed so long the tins (do they still do TINS) have gone rusty. Still has the paint patches and the big tin of paint I think has been relegated to the garage.

Best go do some chicken ding for tea :D
didnt even bother with a ding tonight
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

The good bits of the past months -

We've virtually stocked the local charity shop single handedly - in fact they now recognise the car, and almost hold the door open for me before I get to opening the boot. :D

People on freecycle are becoming return customers :rotfl:

We've filled the (big, people carrier without back seats sized) boot for the tip at least once a week in the last 2 months. :T

I can walk through the garage from front to back without the aid of grappling hooks and sherpa for the first time in over 3 years

There's nothing but empty boxes in the loft

    The bad bits -

Haven't had proper meal times for the whole holiday - more than once the kids have suddenly realised they're hungry at 7.00pm (to be fair, we often asked them at a more reasonable time, but they'd be too busy playing with their new toys, and we couldn't be arrised, in the nicest sense :o )

The laundry has only just in the last couple of days started to be attacked since the start of the holiday - the kids PE kits are still in their bags on the hall floor where they were dropped on the 19th - and they go back on Tuesday!

Most Christmas toys have yet to find homes - and some not from this christmas

I haven't scrubbed the kitchen floor since 2007 (and that's a job I actually like doing, just not had the time :( )

I've lost my extra long, cobweb catching feather duster - (it's dayglow stripes for whatnots' sake - how do I loose something 2 foot long in colours to make your eyes bleed?!) - so the cobwebs are building up (the vacuum hose just doesn't do it the same). My excuse for this one is it's a nature study for the kids - and we have had less flying things in the house this year, so there is an added bonus )))flying bugs(((

Whilst the 'new bedroom' we created for eldest in the summer (remember the 'before' pictures?) is actually in a relatively tidy state, the rest of the house is a tip despite all the aforementioned clearing (can we really have fitted everything into this house, or is there a Tardis room we haven't noticed?).

    And the [strike]ugly[/strike] scary?

We move house in 18 days and I haven't even begun to start packing yet:eek:

I have a dream - that nothing will go into the new house that we don't use regularly - wish me luck, time's running out, and it didn't work last time we moved.

There, I feel better now :D :rotfl: :p

I use old cardboard boxes lined with black sacks and filled with litter, in theory this makes it easy to throw the whole lot away - but in reality :o

There are things under the sofas and I'm too scared to look or put my hand under them! Last time I got a sweet stuck on my wrist, at least I think it used to be a sweet

dd2 and dd3's room is a no go zone, and that's after they've filled the car with black bags several times over and I've been to the charity shop, tip and recycling! I've had the paint since the summer hols to redecorate it, but can't face the mess that needs sorting out first! They also have no curtains up at the mo since dd3 swung on them and pulled down the pole! On the bright side they have just ventured in there with black bags :rotfl:

Two of my kitchen drawer fronts have fallen off and are precariously balanced on the other drawers, every time I open one they fall on my toes, does this make me repair them, nope, I invested in slippers as foot protection :o

    lol

well I decided to tackle one area that was a problem for me.

i now have no fruit bowl. ;)

i need to wash the dogs floor - it was done last week but he decided to show his disapproval of me leaving him to go food shopping

Bedding on all beds need changing

There's dishes with curry in from last nights dinner in the sink

My living room looks like a bombs hit and I only left BF for an hour to go back to bed

My floordrobe is taking over everything to the point my bf (who has never cleaned once in the 6 years ive been with him) tackled his side of the bed with two black bags. now has a box of old work clothes and a black bag of paperwork

Im scared to open any draws for fear of not being able to close them again

Ive so much paperwork stuffed everywhere that one spark and i could be a gonna

I need to clean the bathroom - it looks clean but bf keeps using bath stuff tha ti cant stand and i know hes used it so need to clean it.

Theres 3 piles of washing in the bedroom and one behind the doo rin the kitchen

my living room now consists of an exercise bike, tv + cabinet, turtle tank and cabinet, table, computer + desk , 2 airers and a shoe rack

The exercise bike hasnt been exercised on for about 6 months (when i got it) it now houses jackets and other hangable garments

my bedroom looks like a car parts garage and has bike panels everywhere.

REALLY MUST MAKE A START ON IT TOMORROW - want to wait until little one is back though so I can clean and have it stay clean

Anyone brave enough to put up pictures of their pits...i mean lived in homes?
    Time to find me again
