  • Washing has been on the line for 3 days, have no ironing as I took half day off work to do it all and if I take the washing in it will fill up again.
Have two vases with dead daffodils in, will chuck them soon.
Power washed my path two weeks ago, path looking lovely. Doormat is still in a soggy heap in middle of grass where I left it. Front door is covered in mud from cleaning the path.
DD stayed at her great grannys last Sat night as we were out for the night. Two o'clock in the morning me and OH had to come home from the pub then to my grannys to hide easter eggs in garden from the Easter Bunny. My Granda is still finding eggs secreted away as we were so pi**ed we can't remember where we hid them all. :D
Bought a shed 4 years ago second hand, when we looked at it we said it had to be painted. Still not been done.
DD has 10 pairs of shoes in cupboard from size 10 to 13, she is now size 1.
I have 10 pairs of trousers in wardrobe from size 10-12, I am now size 14.

Thanks all for a good laugh. I have so enjoyed reading through here.

The benefits have been two fold. I dont feel so bad about the state of my house and all the jobs that need doing plus I was feeling a bit down so it has cheered me up no end.

Loved "burping the worm", had never heard it called that before.

    I'll catch up with the whole [STRIKE]novel[/STRIKE] thread later; here's my confessions;

finally brought myself to tip the rancid chicken, carrot and lentil slow cooker soup down the loo. It was about a week old and starting to move on its own accord.

Have failed spectacularly on the following

regularly hoovering, washing , cleaning, ironing.

I simply don't dust, menu plan, write shopping lists.

I've deleted flylady from my emails.

For 2 weeks running I have thrown most of the contents of my fridge away.

I keep buying foods that I already have.

I've kind of cleaned the loo mainly by splodging a load of tesco limescale remover on it and walking away without a backward glance.

    5 a day is more like 5 a fortnight.

I haven't lost weight and haven't moved around much.

I think I'm going to finish this botte of wine that is staring at me.

I'm off sick with a virus and will stay off work tomorrow and do nowt and stay in my nightie.

I reckon the house is 20% needed stuff and 80% get it on ebay stuff.

We ran out of underwear last week, I blame the bad weather for my complete lack of motivation to bung clothes in the washer.

Today my OH had to do an emergency shirt wash as he has ran out of them for work.

As usual all my plants are dying, so much for feeding my family from homegrown veg, I can't even keep my aloe vera plant going and they're supposed to be indestructable.

All the stuff written in capitals marked 'URGENT MUST DO' on my white board, I haven't done and I wrote that about a week or so ago.

    I love our local chippy.

I haven't ventured on this board for ages because I know I'm highly rubbish.

Do they have some kind of 'Priory' place for people like us?:D

Oh and I finally managed to give 2 of the 4 lovely easter bowls as gifts this year.

I got them January 2007.....erm... forgot to give them last year.

If you asked me I probably couldn't locate any item in my house, within a few hours, without a lot of rummaging and furniture shifting.

I have no 'regular' jobs, just things that absolutely need doing or the smell is really getting to me.;)

I'm really not bothered about any of the above.:D

I have at least 60 to 70 cookery books and use about 5 regular recipes from them.

An extra confession from me, I looked at the flylady sight a few months ago & though 'No way am I going to waste time doing all that.'
I've said before that I don't do housework & I only cook because I enjoy it, lol.
