Sillyvixen - try leaving the sunroof open -the only downside is a wet bum:rotfl:

(I did this about 2 years ago and the car still feels damp and steams up if I have the heating on)

I'm still looking at my "Paper Mountain" to go through....I have a tendency when it gets that high to bribe myself to tackle it with a glass or two of wine...no surprises there then! But wine is out as the diet starts any second - just got to work out my shopping list.

Must stop making excuses to myself along lines of "but you should see the rest of the house now.....loft decluttered(check)/understairs cupboard decluttered (check)/sitting room and dining room storage decluttered (check). Gives self pat on back........but theres still that Paper Mountain (must be about 1' high I estimate) and I'm sitting here on MSE feeling tired and wondering if I will even get round to tackling it this week.
  • Right my usual hotspots are completed :T However I STILL haven't cleaned my bathroom - eughh!! It's been about 2 weeks now :o I have chucked bleach down the loo, but Kim and Aggie might be round soon :o
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

Love this thread - spent a good couple of hours reading it from start to finish. It inspired me to do a couple of my jobs but the paper mountain that I planned to do in my week off work is still there. I have to keep the house in a reasonable state at the mo as its up for sale but seem to keep coming across mats of dog hair (must shave the dog). I currently have bedroom and ensuite to clean and upstairs hall to wash floor (dog again) so that won't be done any time soon. I wish I had a cleaner - oh to come home to a sparkling house everyday. Of course I also wish I had a personal chef and a gardener so that I could live in the style to which I could become accustomed to but short of winning the lottery thats not going to happen :(.
