Thanks for the suggestion celyn90. Its brand new, a Christmas present (abit sad but I asked for it!). Do you think cleaning the filter will make a difference anyways, it still looks new? It normal for about a second then you can hear a change and looses all suction. Really annoying! Have caught the flying bug and want to get on with my wednesday job (Stairs and landing). Mmm, think I'm on the wrong thread....

EDIT: Sorted out the hoover, had a proper look and yes there was still a creme egg lurking, now nicely cleared![/quote]

Have you tried taking the filter out and washing it? I had to do this when I jammed mine with plaster dust.

Mine has a spider in it at the moment. I can see him through the plastic. :D

    I can beat that...

Last time I used my Dyson (I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE it.. but I LOVE Henry) I vacuumed DS1's room (16) .. while slurping up sweet wrappers from behind the monitor this 'thing' slurps its way up... It was a condom used while 'burping his worm' so he didn't make his sheets sticky... I had to empty and wash said Dyson bucket (did I mention I hate that machine) because I could see it going round.. and round.. and round.. and round.. in the cyclone!!!

OK.. daughters... I found a pair of bloodied knickers behind the bath one day while defuzzing under there.. DD1 had hidden them and 'forgotten' where they were!! .. they were ROCK hard.

She also blocked the loo putting whole ST's down the loo.. and hubby had to have his arm in.. needless to say he cleaned up his own sick too!!

Girls are not necessarily more pleasant.. well.. they are ultimately prefrable to boys.. but they are gross too
