    :j OOO.MMMM.GGGG:j
this thread was made for me........:D

    confession time.....

I have an ironing slave, its in payment for me paying sky sports but by golly gosh he's as bad as me...and we do move it to the 'holding area' if visitors are due....:D
I am embarrassed to say tho I was hard at work yesterday doing my bit for a family meal so I had to clean as much as could and hide  ;) the rest!
My biggest confession has to be everywhere downstairs has recently been decorated....lounge/dinning room/kitchen but everything I didn't go through and either rehome or whizz is now safely boxed and stored in my room:eek:

but its my room next on the list

so now where do I hide it:rolleyes: :rotfl: the loft......*if I can get in*

I'm lucky the cooker rarely needs cleaning, rarely use it is my secret :T it usually looks dusty.....is that shabby chic :D

I've been out in the garden over this weekend but 1 hint of snow/rain/hail and I scurry back in to the warmth of the fire!
I've been going to wash and hover the car for over a month now [STRIKE]tell the truth since christmas[/STRIKE]:rotfl: but it always looks like rain :rotfl:

    I use that phrase a lot:rotfl:

I have hidden so much over the years, but I do now confess more or get the lads to do the dirty work....or just throw it out!
    Panda xx

    :Tg :jo:Dn ;)e:Dn;)o:jw :T

    missing kipper No 2.....

My name is Floyd and I am a disgrace to flylady, well I would be if I had actually joined up instead of taking one look and never reading it again! :rotfl:

    * In 4 years I have NEVER washed my car or cleaned inside it

    * I don't iron, EVER, if something needs ironing or dry cleaning I don't buy it

    * The kitchen is still a patchwork of tester pot trials 4 years after we moved in
    * My fruitbowl contains: 1 set car keys, 4 wrinkly plums:eek: , 2 biros, 1 packet of channa massala spice, a postcard, a screwdriver, handsfree earpiece and a Bero recipe book!

    * The suitcases from our holiday last October were still in the dining room until last week! :o

    * I started hoovering everywhere this afternoon but lost interest when a fledgling bird started tapping on the window to be fed so I went out in the garden instead

    * I have just got chocolate on my only clean jumper so I will have to a) wash one before tomorrow or b) sponge the choccy with a damp flannel........which do you think will win?

    * There are 2 crates of clean washing to put away that have been there since last monday

I am sure there are more sins that I am bypassing but since I can't be arsed to move away from my desk to look they shall remain wedged in the back of my mind :D

Morning! I got up early and have done 2 loads of washing and its dancing on the washing line, am halfway thru the dishes (from saturday), have had 2 ginger n lemon weight watcher biscuits( to counter-effect the hot cross bun im going to have in 5 mins) then Im going to clean the fish tank - its amazing how goldfish can write 'SOS' on the inside of the tank!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Know that feeling, mine are training the snails to write "clean me" in the algae...

sillyvixen, my OH's mum says that too - she also doesn't wash clothes between Christmas and New Year. I wish she'd told me that I wasn't allowed to use the washing machine before we went there over Christmas/New year with only hand luggage...

  • I loved this thread until i realised that most people have confessed on here and then have done something about it (todays daily thread)

I would never of confessed if i thought that i had to start doing something about it ;)

I can't believe I have only just found this thread!

I never EVER clean my car. My DH does it because he says he can't stand to watch me do it! I make it look such an effort, apparently. Truth is, I hate doing it.

I have surface-dusted only the bits you can see for about two weeks now.

I haven't dusted anything above my own eyeline for months - I'm 5'4" so I don't see it; DH is 6'4" and sees a lot more than I do so I make him do it!

I have a drawer under my bed that I know will take about a week to sort out - I can't even open it properly because it's so full. It opens about 2 inches now and I force things through the gap. Luckily, what goes in there is the stuff we hardly use.

I've given my kitchen a good clean recently but simply couldn't be bothered to do the tops of the wall cupboards.I just ran out of steam. The kitchen looks good but I just know what's up there!

When I cleaned the kitchen floor this morning I just moved the mop around the bits I could reach without stretching.

I was feeling quite ashamed but, now I know I'm not the only one, I feel a whole lot better!

Now I'd better go before I 'fess to any more sins.

  • I feel like Ive let everyone down now. Fish tank is clean, dishes all done (except for the plate and mug on the desk in front of me) and washings on the radiator. Ive only blitzed the place because my youngest is due home soon and I could just imagine her saying 'you know I go off for a few days and as soon as my backs turned the place is a tip...how many mouths have you got cos theres umpteen cups in the sink etc etc'.
I feel like Ive been to Slob Camp this weekend! Ive eaten 4 packets of crisps,3 hot cross buns, 1 bottle of merlot, half bottle of doctor pepper, 2 chunky kit-kats, 1 ripple,2 rolo yogurts ...and more and Ive just put the rubbish away -mainly so my kids dont see the junk Ive eaten and call me a hypocrite when I tell them to eat good stuff!
By the way my fruit bowl has a lemon and a lime in it. Dont know why.
