My fruitbowl contains (this should be a thread all on its own!!)

    a pin..
    a broken pencil,
2 bobbles (one pinkand one purple.. see they even nearly match!)
Some thing brown that I THINK used to be a grape..
an egg .. it wouldn't fit in my chicken!
A carrier bag containing a biro and a wrinkly apple.

The fruit is still on the worktop on a carrier where it has been since Wednesday! .. If I put it in the bowl everyone eats it!!

:rotfl: :rotfl: WE have a family saying whenever anyone can't find something

"It's in the fruitbowl next to your socks ! "

I am now finishing my family size bag of maltesers and am watching the crumbs bounce of my keyboard as Im typing. Come on, how many more of you are looking into your keyboards now?

There two keys on my laptop keyboard that don't work unless you tilt it to move the crumbs - one of them's the shift.

Lol the one about not washing the uniform from Thursday applies here too!

I left the washing in the machine for two days so it stunk. I chucked in some more wash powder and washed it all again.... that was yesterday and I still haven't opened the door and taken it out

Hubby lost his key so has to ring the bell to get in. I've not given him the spare one because I like the early warning system which tells me to get off the laptop and look like i've done something other than surf MSE all day :rotfl:

If I'm not going out and can't be bothered to brush my hair and someone knocks at the door unexpectedly, I grab a hankie and pretend I've got a cold.. even do a fake cough so I can grab my parcel and not feel guilty for looking like Waynetta!

Finally I have a pigs bodypart in my lounge as one of the dogs got bored and left it and the other dog hasnt seen it and scoffed it yet. God thats gross.
  • Even though it's a welcome day off work tomorrow i think i will make a really big effort...I may even take out the hoover...and if im not too tired after that I will enjoy the rest of the bank holiday:p :D;)

P.S I've washed the uniform but it may be a while before it is ironed!!!:D

 mines missing the s and d aswell on the main PC, not the k, but the T has gone aswell, maybe I type THIS too often, or is it an alternative mix of those letters :rotfl::o my partner keeps moaning because he types things wrong. I don't look so don't care, told him to get the tippex out :D

:confused:Iron uniform, nah, kids wear polo shirts and sweatshirts, dried carefully and if completely necessary my tumble dryer has an 'easy iron' function which even takes the creases out of DPs shirts. Comments like 'but your clothes don't look scruffy' when I say to people I don't iron unless I have to make me laugh....:rotfl:I'm saving my clothes from being ruined by heat and reducing my energy usage which is good for the enviroment :D my excuse and I am sticking to it.

Oh and because we're lazy myself and my partner frequently have conversations on MSN in seperate rooms. Also helps with nosey kids listening in etc.
One day I might be more organised...........

  • haha these are great, made me feel so much better to know everyones basically the same when it comes to all this! heres my confessions for today then...

i havent ironed anything since moving into my new flat...6 months ago.

i ate a whole easter egg the size of my head today, had a sugar crash and fell asleep instead of doing the housework.

i always pretend i havent noticed the cat trays dirty so my partner finds it and has to clean it.

i have opened the window every morning for the past week and saw a pizza box in the garden, but just left it there. its been so windy im hoping it will blow away.

My keyboard's squeaky clean but only cos I had to have it replaced. What do kids do to them? I have an ironing slave, eldest son is out of work and I'm trying to persuade him work is better than home. I keep looking at flylady thread, thats as good as doing it, right?
