  • Well as we are here baring our souls, I've just wandered over to my washing machine (which isn't in the kitchen, but a little side room near the garage) and it's full of wet washing, I have absolutely no idea how long it's been there:o

A hint for those with piles of carp & nowhere else to find it, if you remove the side of the bath you can hide loads in there, replace the panel & no one will be any the wiser.

I have had a bowl of cookie crisps and 2 cream eggs for breakfast. I'm still not dressed, but then I consider it a major achievement if I'm dressed before midday any day of the week. I am going to the pub once I'm dressed. I watch far too much football when I should be cleaning/tidying. I thought it was only me that left washing in the WM for days on end. The ironing will not get done until Tuesday at the earliest. We are having HM steak pie for tea, but that is only because it was a gift from my 88 year old Nana.
  • Hehe this has been one of the funniest threads i have read in a long time.

Thankyou all for making my otherwise boring Sunday .... fun.

    Ok i will have a go :

I havent ironed anything in 18 months, my mum does it .If i leave little piles in visable spots. She collects it all up and then the ironing fairy brings it back all neat and hangs it up :)

I havent hoovered in 18 months. H or the boys will give it a quick blast every now and then.

In my defence tho i have a bad leg. Pins and plates to standing around just cant be done.
I have now had 1 plate removed and really need to start getting 'me' back on track.

I often have days that i cant be bothered and ring for pizza.Even though i might of meal planned.

When i meal plan i often just cant face what i have put down to eat so either just make it for everyone else or call a takeaway

I have been tidying the table for the past month. As soon as its clear everyone thinks great and fills it up again, So i have kind of given up.

My coat has been on the back of the chair for 5 days since i last went out. Waiting for me to take it back upstairs.

My best one has to be that i convinced H i needed a laptop because i struggled to get to the home puter when my leg was sore.... Shhh but i have always wanted one Then i could stay snuggled up on the sofa with a blanket and not have to get cold...
Ooooh and another. I had a box of christmas craft things to go up the loft. But its just the right height for me to lie on sofa and have my laptop open in front of me.... So its still there. But it comes in very handy ;)

I am going to go now :)

Hi pigpen-you were the last person I expected to find on here-you always seem so very organised. On ther clutter clearing thread you always seem to have a bin bag in hand clearing stuff, throwing stuff away. I imagined your house to be gleaming-like something out of a magazine. I am so pleased that you have made your confession. You make me smile (and no, not in a pervy way!!!:rotfl: )

You haven't seen my photos obviously!!!!!!!! lol

I have a house like a bin.. my user name is because I live in one.. not because I like the Charlie Brown character!!! (I like Woodstock better.. he is so cute!)

I have just put 8 boxes of toys into the loft... and the room is STILL full!!!!

Just imagine how much carp I have in here if I NEED to always have a binbag in hand... so far today.. 1 binbag for charity and one for the bin!!

I've found 2 rolls of fabric and a window valance and a pair of curtains I didn't know I had!!!

I have 15 boxes of clothes which the children have outgrown!! :o

Thank you for making me laugh:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
This is the funniest thing I've read in ages! And I don't feel guilty any more:T
The sink is full of the breakfast and lunch pots, the decorating stuff from the begining of the week is still on the kitchen floor with a newspaper over it to stop the cat sticking her nose in it, there is a pile of junk mail on the kitchen table. I just noticed OH's work bag (on the stairs since Wednesday) still has a milk bottle in it  and I walked past it, the bed is unmade (something I'm usually fanatical about) and I've just eaten a huge pile of chocolate........does banana cake count as one of my 5 a day????

    I LOVE YOU ALL!

My kitchen - which is the tidiest room in my flat - looks like this:

    14sgnyg.jpg

I have lived here 16 months and have never cleaned my windows. I noticed how vile they were a fortnight ago - and bought a squeegee. It's still in its packaging, and the windows are still disgusting. My excuse is that it's been raining every other day so it hasn't been worth it...

I've never cleaned the oven either.

The dirty linen basket is full, and I can't remember the last time I ironed anything. There is a mound of clean washing breeding in the corner of my bedroom.

I did a "delicates wash" over a week ago (bras mainly), and everything I have not worn since then is STILL hanging on the airer in the bathroom.

I have been v. busy this weekend with church services etc. The only clear slot I have had so far to "get things done" was yesterday morning. I spent that time lying in bed playing Snakes on my Nokia phone.

The loo gets cleaned when it looks like it needs it. In fact, come to think of it...

There is not ONE SINGLE clear surface in this flat. And I'm including the chairs and sofas in that. As I type this, I am sharing the sofa with two cushions, a snuggly blanket, half of last week's Saturday newspaper, a sweatshirt I was wearing on Friday, a jacket I can't be ar5ed to hang up cos it needs to go to the dry cleaners anyway, the current "Somerfield Deals" leaflet, the remote for the telly, and my "landline" phone.

Among the useful things on the shelves above the loo in my bathroom are three empty tampon boxes and four bare loo-roll tubes.

    And I don't even have any [strike]excuse[/strike]kids...

Another takeaway last night over here :hello:
Haven't hoovered as OH's dad didn't come to stay in the end so I didn't feel the need.
Didn't unmake spare bed as I should have considering OH's father didn't come.
Haven't washed the kitchen floor in weeks as OH's dad didn't come :rotfl:
Done the washing up but couldn't be asked to dry it
Haven't done filing since we moved in - 6 months ago
Keep putting glasses on as can't see TV - realised it just covered in dust
Bananas about to walk off the worktop and into banana cake themselves
Onions and peppers still on the worktop waiting to be chopped and frozen.
Two bags of rubbish sitting by the bin as I forgot to take them out
The dried ingredients for Twinks Hob Nobs are still in the mixing bowl in the cupboard and have been for the past three weeks :o
Yesterdays wash included jeans, underwear, the bathroom mat and my slippers - oh, and I don't care they all came up fine :rotfl:
