Just found this thread - It's great. Here's my list:

-The ironing pile has been growing for the last 2 months and at some point I will run out of money / time and won't be able to just buy stuff from primark. I will also start looking like a tramp, so really have to iron soon.
-I have really badly overspent on the GC this month, mainly due to not cooking from scratch.
-The grout on the tiles BF put up in the kitchen needs wiping off, and has done since christmas.
-My overnight bag from a trip I took 2 weeks ago is still not unpacked entirely.(ie at all)
-Although my theory of keepng a microfibre cloth by the telly and wiping it every day should work, it doesn't. I tend to have to wash the cloth every time as the layer of dust is that thick.
-One of the only things that is actually clean in my house is...the new matress which was delivered last week.

Ok so I'm off to menu plan, and it looks like this evening will be spent ironing. In fact this thread has given me a kick, which I really needed. Thanks Gingham xx

 Why would we get Bank Holidays off???

Sheesh, these scruffy northerners :rotfl:off to change my 'location' :o:p

Oh and today I been working correcting my sins :D I've even moved the sofas and cleaned under them, with my foot against the cupboard door :o so it didn't pop open. Sorted through some of the cupboard too, pleased with my little self.

BR - if you think that kitchen is untidy :rotfl:goodness knows what you would think of mine at the mo.

Speaking of which I best get it tidied and cleaned, once I have finished my coffee, oh and my light fitting isn't sticky because I made my partner wipe it when he changed the bulb :p:rotfl:
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

Forgive me for I have sinned..

and last week I did NOTHING off my flylady list!!!

    I haven't vacuumed upstairs for 4 months.

    pigpen

I'm horrified, there I am slaving away to play catch up and all the time you're cheating. No wonder your list kept getting shorter the only thing you were cleaning were the lines of writing on it.

I looked up to you and lilme in an effort to get my house respectable and yes we've both seen the photos of each others mess but at least I'm not pretending :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Will read the rest of this thread later :D

Just a thought. If anyone has light fittings in their kitchen, I dare yous to see how sticky they are...not that ... ahem......mine are of course...:o

a curse on all your houses for making me look - mine is a long flourescenty thingy and is full of flying things that have ceased to be - oh yuckyety yuck yuck - it's been like that for years but now it's going to bother me - well enough for me to get exoh to deal with it when he drops dd off anyway
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

Oh and I'm down to my last bra - the others are all in the washing because since I started buying more expensive ones that actually fit I need to hand wash them and I can't be bothered!

:o:o:o Me too....Actually I have 4 bras from M&S that can go in the WM, so I'm wearing those instead of the more expensive ones that fit properly and need handwashing...the expensive ones are all in the washing basket, I keep meaning to get them out and soak them in some handwashing powder I bought last time we went to France, you can just soak them then rinse them but even that is too much hassle atm.

The house is a tip, I've had a bad cough which used up all my spare energy so have only managed washing up and some washing the last few weeks.

There's so much clutter that it builds up again faster than I can get rid of it(not helped by DH buying model trucks and dvds about steam trains, bless him)

The "spare room" is so full of "stuff" (mostly DH's) that when DD2 asked today if she could bring back the chest of drawers she took with her when she left home, we were dismayed. :D Honestly, you'd never think there was a bed in the room if you looked from the door as it's completely invisible under everything else.

It makes me feel so much better that I'm not the only one with a home that isn't spotless. But what this thread really has brought home to me is that so many of us are just plain worn-out!
