No - the extra 150 wasnt for the bluetooth, as they come with a standard stereo, unless you ask otherwise. He was being dishonest, by claiming that the 'deal' price Fiestas of 6495 were adopted stock, which are brand new, but suplus 57 plates which hadnt been sold. He claimed that if I wanted an 08 plate, the price was 6995 - but this was all nonsense, he basically thought I was an idiot and he didnt realise I had actually done my research.

Im not too bothered if they dont call back. If I do decide to get a new car, I wont be going to that particular BSM anyway.

That's clearly untrue as their website says 08 plates...

I can understand leaving them on simmer and moving on. Plonkers.

Can you see where im coming from? He claimed he couldnt look at the internet prices as he said his computer wasnt internet ready lol!! But he was able to access the ford car catalogue and he had print outs of the website on his desk!

Also i was a bit !!!!ed off in the way the MANAGER phoned my partner yesterday to tell me that he had " Good News " regarding the price of the vehicle. Basically he phoned to say that yeh that price of £6495 WAS the actual price of it!!! No !!!! sherlock....!

I am tempted by the offer, but i think i may go to the Bristol street a bit further away in Kings Norton if i am going to do a deal! The manager is far too arrogant at my local one.

I appreciated the salesmans help though.

Just to add... it seems as though im not going to be able to get a decent loan, the 6.8% apr wouldnt apply to me with Barclaycard, as i havent got a credit score! Basically im going to get a !!!! APR because i dont or havent ever owned a credit card or had a loan before.

That's common when young and a different issue - out of a salesmans hands. My first personal loan came from my own bank who knew my account well - could you go to your own bank?

The APR rates arent that good for HSBC which is who i bank with. I probably wouldnt even get their base rate anyway of 8.9%.

Why is it that Ford can offer me finance on 7.9% but a bank cant? What the difference, surely there are the same risks?

Also, if i took this finance out with Ford, and my payments were spot on all through my term, would it give me a good credit score for later on in life?

I don't know how long good things stay on file for. You can check your rating for a bob or two, so that would be a way to find out.

Yeh i suppose thats an option, but does that affect your credit score? I wonder if the bristol street in kings norton will be a bit more leniant than my local one, as it does seem to be considerably bigger.

yes they may just have a spare free fiesta sitting around.
the dealer doesnt have any say in the finance, that is up to ford, not the dealer.

 . Yeh i know about the finance now, i understand that. But i mean they may be a bit more leniant in throwing lets say... Bluetooth into the mix, or atleast 12 months road tax! Im only thinking that because its a bigger place, and there may be more margin for them to plat around with?
