30% deposit (my old car and some cash) and the balance over 36 months - set amount each month. No final payment. Finance deals are finishing 31st March but who knows what others are around the corner.

The special editions out at the moment are Blue (Blue with fitted bluetooth, trimmed mats and air conditioning as standard) and Platinum (Silver with Leather/suedey type seats as standard) . Both have aux ipod connection for stereo. I love mine but it is considerably smaller than a Fiesta.0 -
Thats a good deal, but i wouldnt want the Aygo, and the Yaris is a bit out of my price range!0

I can understand that.I love my car but I wouldn't have bought it if I didn't have a larger vehicle too.0

I might use that when i speak to the saleman at Ford. See what he says....0

I doubt Ford will bother about another manufacturers deals, especially as they have your vehicle cheaper any way and with a large discount if your 9k versus 6.5k is right. Have you looked at What Car for their target price?
Is it this one? (If it isn't there are loads more options at the bottom of the page)

Yeh its the £7600 target price..... Would they not even consider cutting the APR?0

I'm trying to sell my 2001 (mark 5 - newer style) Fiesta for roughly the same price, and I'm struggling too - maybe there is a lull in the car buying market???Quidco Earnings (since Dec 06): £467.750

Tbh why not just admit you can't afford this car at this time and either stick with what you have or change the kind of car you want
The finance rate is a special offer, the car is already heavily discounted, your car isnt likely to make what they are offering - given it will go to auction
They are not going to cut the rate, or increase the trade in value
You will be able to get something like a fiat, citroen, renault etc for the money you do have
Theres not a lot of point in you continuing to post though, as your completely ignoring everyones advice and comments and are still deluding yourself that this fiesta is worth more than a grand0 -
I personally don't like the Yaris... its such a small car for what I think is a lot of money.
I personally think the Fiesta offers a lot better value for money, but then most people (not necessarily those above) are on the "you can't beat Japanese cars" bandwaggon at the moment.
(G/F has a 57 reg 1.4 Fiesta Zetec Climate with sports and tech pack from brand new... lovely little car, goes well and looks fantastic!0 -
If you are going to try and play a deal make sure the salesman has some control over it. If it is a set finance company deal and he can't change the rate then there is no point in going down that route for money saving.
I'm on the 'can't beat Japanese' myself due only to repairs and depreciation experience - because I'm old I've owned 2 Mazdas and 2 Toyotas but also have experience of Vauxhall Corsa, Cavalier, Nova, Astra and 3x Fiesta.
I also was surprised at the ONR price of the Yaris.0
