I was paid for 4 comments written before the site was upgraded. The site has only recently started asking for topics again a few days ago, so it's early days yet for payment.

    Good luck

    Hellooee,

Can someone please confirm that they have actually received money from doing this writers share thing please? So far all I've seen are people telling us how many comments they've written, but no talk of the cold, hard cash :) Is it real or just a scam to get epople to write comments (for free) with the promise of cash?

    Ta

I wrote 7 comments before the site went down and got £7 for them> I'm now banging out - ahem, I mean carefully considering - a few comments hoping for more of the same!

thissite seems to be a really good part time job, as long as i get paid i will have made £25 just typing comments every now and then over the past 3 days. im 17 so finding a job is pretty hard and this requires much less effort even if it does need to be thought about a little more than a job in a supermarket. im looking forward to seeing if this all works out

Furthermore, do many of you write posts to the same topic except with a different point of view? Is this acceptable?

I certainly do, Andy and have just done 4 on fitflops/mbts with a few more in me yet (I consider myself qualified to opine since I'm one of the nuggets who went out and bought a pair of each last year.;))

I've got no reason to think that this is disallowed.

There's lots of information in their FAQs here

    http://www.writersshare.co.uk/about/faqs/

It says you can comment on the same topic as many times as you like, as long as each one is unique.

Writers Share also have a page on Facebook which I had a look at the other day.

Are Fitflops any good? Just reserved myself a pair of the latest ones, more on fashion value than expecting them to make my legs super slim!
I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

I can't remember what it was now, but when the site was first mentioned on here there was talk of it being american. I think they had their address in the emails and comments were only accepted/declined in late afternoon/evening.

It's pretty common for a site to have UK and USA versions of their sites.

On the other hand, I've just checked and the domain name is registered to a UK individual. So maybe I am going mad!

I was convinced it was a yank site, even remember checking the time difference between the UK and the city they were in, so I knew when to expect emails from them.
