Yes, totally agree. That's happened to me twice. It's really annoying - one was the moving home one and it took time to organise my thoughts and then "Topic Closed".
They seem to change new topics at around 1 or 2 in the afternoon (which leads me to believe it's American based or at least some of the admin is done there).
That keeps happening to me too, its like they know :rotfl:
i will persevere though0 -
I made about 10 comments on 2nd May but haven't heard anything yet. I'll wait and see how much I get paid tomorrow, but it would be nice to know if the comments have been accepted, or not, before doing more.
I'd hate to make 50 comments and find I only get paid for 2 of them!
I know it's not nice, as it happened to me once, but at least when you get the "topic closed" message you know what is going on. You can then decide if you want to do more, but not knowing one way or the other makes it hard to keep writing.0 -
i've done about thirty comments in the past few days, and don't really wanna do anymore until i know whether they're still going to honour payments. if tomorrow i get £30 in my paypal, then next week i'm going to aim for fifteen a day.0

I did quite a few on monday and have been waiting with baited breath for some emails from them but so far nothing, will be interesting to see if we all get paid tomorrow!
Since monday whenever I have had chance to write any comments I have really struggled with the topics, I just don't know enough about fashion to write anything on the fashion ones, and some of the financial ones are very specific.0 -

I am wondering if the lack of emails indicates that they have a large number of commenter's.
If they get a large number of comments will this mean there is more chance of comments being rejected? If they only need a certain number of comments per topic, it will mean the more comments made the more will be rejected.
This is what stopped me making more comments, I want to know how many are being accepted or rejected before jumping in full time. Well, trying to do 10 - 20 each and every day.0 -
Hopefully if they keep on top of it they should close the comments before they get too many for each topic, but maybe that is asking too much! They could have changed their system and decided to stop sending out the acceptance emails, or am I clutching at straws!0

I'd love to aim for that many but I really don't think I could with the current range of topics. Have started one or two then decided that actually I couldn't pull together 150 words on that subject without it taking me ages, then it stops being worth it!0 -
I'm really annoyed, just spent 15 minutes writing a comment, and guess what?
TOPIC CLOSED!
When I go back to the main page it says its still open though!
This happened to me too. I emailed them and said that I had written the comment almost as soon as it went onto the site so was there a problem with it...that was the beginning of the week and i havent heard anything since...........
hope they dont go back down for a couple of weeks again, although it will allow me to focus on exam revision!SPC Member #1654

I've written a quite a few comments this week and am wondering whether it is too good to be true. They do seem to be wanting lots of comments though. I think I read on their site that when you've done 50 comments, instead of £1 a comment, you receive £1.50. They also say that when you've done about 500 (I think) they will pay a one-off payment of £50.
We'll wait and see.0
