I haven't seen any antagonism about it, personally. (I will confess I haven't read the entire thread.)
My comments were pure curiousity. I just can't see how the website profits from our comments. There's no obvious advertising on the site and we aren't providing statistical info (as in the case of paid surveys.) I don't mind people making a profit from others using their site (as Martin himself does on this site), I just like to know how!
I think the theory posted by geordie joe (i think) was about the best theory regarding how they are making money. It is certainly fesable. My guess is they are selling the comments as web content for other sites.
Anyway I have done 10 comments and i'mnow waitingto see what happens before I do any more. It would be interesting to know if I am on the right lines with the comments or not and I will only find that out if i get paid on Friday.:DMF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -

There's no antagonism. We know they are selling our comments on to another site, and that's fair enough.0 -

that will be nice, as it means i will have over 50 in paypal so can withdraw without fees!! lol!
Hey Malteser1988, have you recieved any e-mail saying your comments have been accepted or are you just running on the knowledge that they usually pay on a Friday?
Well done by the way with the 50 comments, I have only done about 25-30 and even then my head was fried! :eek:0 -

No e-mail confirmations for me yet ... let you know if that changes - good/ bad/or Pulitzer nomination.
FWIW - and it made me smile, I did a bit of googling about articles etc - just to see what was around.
What made me smile? This link:

They are happy to publish your article - if you pay them $1.00 each article. Maybe we should stick with the deal we've got, huh?If many little people, in many little places, do many little things,
they can change the face of the world.

Hellooee,
As much as I'd love to, I haven't got time to read all 32 pages of this post - just the first 2, and last 2. Can someone please confirm that they have actually received money from doing this writers share thing please? So far all I've seen are people telling us how many comments they've written, but no talk of the cold, hard cashIs it real or just a scam to get epople to write comments (for free) with the promise of cash?
