I think what you are suffering is over worked fingers and hands. You are not used to typing a lot. Most people who use a computer click with the mouse far more than they type. They soon get tired when the have to type a long piece of text, or type many comments.
Geordie joe - As someone who used to type regularly for a living (old computer system which was entirely keyboard based combined with 12 hour shifts) I know that it is possible to get Work Related Upper Limb Disorder (WRULD - or what used to be known as RSI) because I have it.
Since our system has changed to largely mouse work I have had far less problems. I am a touch typer and have been professionally trained to type 70 wpm so it's not a case of me not "typing properly". I am used to typing a lot, all of the time.
I am lucky to have the assistance of my occupational health department, who have shown me stretches and have explained to me that the tendons in my wrists need to be stretched regularly because of the position my hands are in when they type.
PS. I'm not having a go, it's just that this is a subject very close to my heart and it really bugs me when people say you can't get RSI from typing. You can!PROUD TO HAVE DEALT WITH MY DEBTS0 -

I didn't say you can't. I said you don't usually get it from typing. I also doubt Andy got it from typing a few comments one day.0 -
I didn't think Andy was serious. I just thought he was making a bit of a joke having written so many comments. But if not I hope the fingers are feeling better now.0

Your absolutely right, I was just playing, I can bash out a comment in about five minutes and I can touch type to a reasonable stardard.
I had typed lots of comments that day (maybe around 40) and Im sorry If I have sparked a bit of a doo, over RSI......0 -

Isn't the site based in the US, so would they not have this Bank Holiday.
Still regardless of pay anyway, it's a great site to give out some of your ideas and express your views!
Furthermore, do many of you write posts to the same topic except with a different point of view? Is this acceptable?0 -
Been waiting for this site to restart and have just entered a few comments. I'll wait and see how successful they are and whether the money does materialise or not before I add any more!
I have to admit, I found it very enjoyable actually! Much better than some of the tedious surveys that don't pay half as well! I don't really understand how the site makes any money though?0 -
I haven't received any feedback for comments I've written over the weekend and have just finished my 30th comment. The previous 4 I did before the site was upgraded, the website didn't send feedback either, I just received a payment in my Paypal account.
Am hoping I don't receive a load of 'don't call us, we'll call you' emails tomorrow  That would put an end to my writing career.
Good luck everyone0 -

Just done the same - as a newbie here and on that site - and will wait and see how they react, and if positive, whether I then get paid - if both, then full steam ahead.
As to how they get paid - sorry for this lol (and I do mean sorry - ok)- I just have this picture in my mind of an 83 year old woman in the backwoods of the US- but with internet access - who knows of sites which pay say 10x what she pays us - and all she does in the morning is cut and paste what we submit - and then takes her dogs for a walk in the afternoon - and down to the local bar in the evening.
Now - where do I find that dark room I should lie down in?If many little people, in many little places, do many little things,
they can change the face of the world.
