Well i got paid for all my comments, but i still think this site looks like a bust in its current incarnation.

I emailed them on the 25th to ask if there were any developments and if they were going to start up again given the time lapse (and to see if I got a reply!). Got this back ...

"We really wish we could set a date but as for now we are in the final
stage of sorting out the automated approval and payment details. Until
we can promptly and fairly pay writers we won't post any new topics.
We hope to have this sorted shortly and we will be up and running as
soon as possible"

Thanks for posting that becky! - Anyone else think W:S might just have found two minutes to post the position themselves both here and on their website - without having to be asked/prompted?

Then again, experience to date suggests that what they say they will do and what they actually do are strangers one to the other.

Spots, leopard, change ...springs to mind.

They might as well not bother reviving the site (I suspect that they have no intention of doing so anyway, and yet again are trying to shut us up for a while).

ADVICE

To anyone considering using Writers:Share if they get back up and running I strongly advise you not to.
It is my belief they have been reported to OfCom.

DO NOT trust this company anymore, they are one big con and are more than likely run by one person!

If anyone does use there service if they get up and running again and OfCom close them down you will not get your money!

Yes, I did too. I was really surprised. Apparently until they get the site up and running, they are going to send us emails with topics to comment on. To be fair to them, I was paid eventually. Sorry about the people who are still waiting. But on the other hand, yesterday I did a survey which was extremely tedious and long and only supposed to last 10 minutes, so I think their £1 per comment is much more enjoyable than doing surveys.

I'm prepared to give it another try, because when it worked it was great.
