Just got home from work and found this in my e-mail

"Hi Nikki,

Thanks for letting me know about the outstanding money, I've just paid
the £7 we owed you into your account and I'm really sorry it's taken
so long to pay you.

I began working on this project yesterday so I'm trying to sort out
all the issues that were left over from the person who previously ran
the project, who has now left. A part of that was the email that you
received about doing work through email which we sent it to those
people who had the highest amount of approved articles on W:S.

I realise that one payment isn't likely to change your opinion about
us, but i was hoping that you would consider doing some more work for
us and with prompt payments, hopefully change your view of us.

Also, if you know of anyone specifically on the Money Saver forum that
is still waiting for their money, could you please let me know so i
can get in contact and pay them. I have gone through the last few
pages and sent messages to those people who said in the thread that
they were still waiting, but i may have missed some one out.

Regards,
Juliette"

There was also a PM in my MSE inbox, and my £7 has been paid !! :):)

I really can't believe it!! I really think that things may change. If there is anyone still waiting for payments, then I would strongly advise them to e-mail writersshare@gmail.com as I only sent it yesterday and have been paid today.
It looks like Juliette has a lot more about her than the last person and seems to be getting things back on track. I am still in shock!!

Note for anyone still waiting payment from past posts:

I e-mailed details of my o/s balance at 3.29 this afternoon, and received my PayPal credit for what I was owed at 3.35.

Same here, had the payment within minutes of emailing them, I believe they are genuine, but let themselves down with the lack of communication. However as they are now under new management this may be why things are being resolved more effectively.
I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

I am a different person to the person who was posting prior to the last message but i'm using the account since it was a company account not a personal account.

The email we sent out was to the people with the highest number of approved comments, no other factors were taken into account. This email was sent because we have a couple of small projects that we need comments for. However, we wanted to avoid getting caught up in the same problems again and so we decided to use email until all the site / people issues have been resolved.

We know that the issues weren't solely to do with the site itself, but the site issues did contribute to the overall problems. We're trying our best to work back to a point where we have regained all the trust we lost before now. However we realise that saying sorry is not likely to be enough. Hopefully we can at least show those writers that took a chance on working with us again that we're a lot more organised.

In all fairness, Juliette is the person I have communicated with, and responses have been almost immediate. I do feel that she has a lot to contend with given the actions of her predecessor who clearly was way out of his or her depth. I think support rather than recriminations are the way to go, as they are clearly trying to resolve the past issues in the best way they can.

Yes I agree, she seems to be working very hard to get things back on track which can't be easy for her, as we all know it was in a right mess. Now that I know things are getting sorted out and are under new management I would like to do some more writing for them, as when it worked it was good!
• Well when I saw that half of the new topics were already closed I realised plenty of you must have been giving them another chance. So far, although I've not written any comments in response, I am impressed with the unprecedented level of communication.

Did you get an email too with new topics? I think the level of communication has proved to be a success for WS, they obviously want to make things work and are really trying to sort out the problems that were created previously.

I agree -- now she's posted again with a near-full explanation. You cannot blame my scepticism, however; writers are stitched up left right and centre, and the lack of professionalism shown so far by this company is enough to test the most faithful of believers.

Best of luck, W:S, and thank you for coming back so quickly to post.

I got a list of topics to comment on via e-mail. I have done one already and will see what happens with that before I do any more. They have also upped the payments :
over 150 words is £1.00
over 300 words is £2.00
over 450 words is £3.00
over 600 words is £4.00

Depending on the topic, I could easily write 600 words, so could be great if it all goes to plan. The test topic I did was for just over 300 words. Will let you all know what happens with it.

I actually can't believe it still. I had seriously given up hope of ever hearing from Writersshare ever again. I hope it does sort itself out for good this time as I really enjoyed it, and would love to write regular comments again.

Today is a going great - got my £7 from WS and £10 Amazon voucher from Dooyoo, and just requested another one!
