I was paid £1 of the money I was owed, several weeks ago, and nothing since. So, they still owe me more than £5, for comments which were marked as approved.

I think it's a scam and we'll never be paid it. I reported them to Watchdog in the end.

well they used flattery about how great my comments were in the email, so it's good for my ego that they've sent it to loads of others! Just wondering are we the ones who receoved it also the ones who got paid in full?

Haven't been on this thread for some time as kind of given up hope weeks ago. I also got an email and I am waiting for £7. I have responded to the e-mail and sent one to the above address saying that I am still waiting for money.

I am shocked and surprised to hear from them with the above post. I will wait and see what happens but I won't hold my breath.

I have been paid all the outstanding amount I was owed. Hopefully with new management we will see things working more efficiently now.

Are you saying that you are a different person to the one who has been posting here over the last few months? If so, how come you're using their account? And, with respect, it wasn't so much site problems as human problems in the end: we were left in the dark with only very sporadic communication by yourselves.

To all wondering if emails are only going out to those paid in full -- no, I haven't received any even though I've been paid out for the work I did. I have however said that I won't be working for W:S again, so perhaps that's why.

Note for anyone still waiting payment from past posts:

I e-mailed details of my o/s balance at 3.29 this afternoon, and received my PayPal credit for what I was owed at 3.35.

I am a different person to the person who was posting prior to the last message but i'm using the account since it was a company account not a personal account.

The email we sent out was to the people with the highest number of approved comments, no other factors were taken into account. This email was sent because we have a couple of small projects that we need comments for. However, we wanted to avoid getting caught up in the same problems again and so we decided to use email until all the site / people issues have been resolved.

We know that the issues weren't solely to do with the site itself, but the site issues did contribute to the overall problems. We're trying our best to work back to a point where we have regained all the trust we lost before now. However we realise that saying sorry is not likely to be enough. Hopefully we can at least show those writers that took a chance on working with us again that we're a lot more organised.
