I am watching for any signs of life with Writers Share. I did get paid for most of my posts but with acceptance emails and stats not adding up I can't say for sure that I am owed much, although I had reached the 50 comment mark and didn't receive any payments at the £1.50 rate. I have gone through all the existing topics on the site and there are about 3 that appear to be still open. I am not sure if this is by mistake or whether they are looking for comments on these.

but I was brought up proper, I was.

According to the acceptance email i'm owed £7, previous stats showed a 1 comment paid 7 awaiting payment and a further 3 comments awaiting moderation and 1 comment rejected which I queried because it wasn't a comment i wrote. The stats now say 1 comment made 1 comment paid and nothing awaiting payment or moderation and nothing rejected.

Night Owl, can you tell us more?

Is anyone here still inclined to work for WS if they EVER put up new topics?

If they pay me and put up more topics I may do a couple just to see how they go.

But there's no way I'm sitting here intending to write 50 comments on the day they come back. It'll be one or two then see if I get paid and how long I have to wait.

Maybe we need to form a group of disgruntled writers, to deal with the non-payment issue. United we stand, and all that ...

I might do the same as you, Geordie, if I get paid, but I think Writers:Share have to put in a lot of effort to convince anyone here that they are up to the job, and genuine.

I believe that due to the fact Writers;Share has lack of funding that say once they get upto a certain money that they have in there account to pay people who post commnets they do one of two things:

    1. If they believe that they may be able to reslove the isue and get more funding quickly they tell you that your comment or comments in many peoples cases havent been accepted, even though they are prefectly okay.

    2. If they have reached there funding limit and used up all there funds they go offline like they have done a number of times.

The risk to users using such a website is you will not get the money you are owed should this company or website fall through the roof and fail leaving mutiple outstanding debts.
The other risk is, for time and work you have put into your comments you may not get paid if the websiet goes under, the fact that in there terms they dont offer any after care for payments should they close.

Writers:Share got my attention a while back but personally I would not put up with the sort of trouble many many people have with these people, you are much betetr standing out in the rain waiting for pounds to rain on you, that is more likely than these people informing people on whats going on.

Does anyone have an address or VAT number for these people?!
If so, great, maybe you should look into that.
If not, this could be anyone behind a computer.

My strong advice regarding this company is to keep a very close eye on them, and your PayPal accounts or any of way you are paid.
Another note to point out, if the company goes through the roof, then if they have debts which there sure too to go under then they can reclaim any monies sent via PayPal to you anytime upto 45 days after, meaning you could go into arrears with PayPal.

This company cant even contact there users to let them know, come on everyone look at this from my point of view, write one E-Mail, paste it and send it too all users, 5 minutes work, one click, cost: Free, have they?!
No, so this company has no feelings for its users, they cant be bothered to even post a message on there website if using E-Mail is to hard for them!

These people need closing down if there not already, there are many better paying websites that reply to E-Mails and never do this sort of thing, there is a risk also this may well be a scam.

I would recommend to anyone whom has used the website and owed money to cut your losses and use another website, and change your passwords.
Anyone of thinking of using Writers:Share, dont, there a waste oif time!
